Would you buy a bespoke wedding dress?

HannahHERA, 15 of August of 2011 at 14:39 Posted on Journalist Seeking... 0 8

Hi there,

I'm setting up a new business in Worcestershire producing individually designed, made-to-measure bridal and evening wear. I'm doing some market research at the moment and was wondering whether this is the sort of thing brides would be interested in?

If you have a couple of moments to fill in my survey, please copy and paste the link below.

Thanks very much!

Thanks for filling in my survey Tinnut. That's so true; my friend is getting married next year and she doesn't want strapless but she's having real problems finding much with straps, hence why she has come to me! I expect more styles with sleeves will appear now though thanks to Kate Middleton!

I echo Annie's sentiments - most shops will amend a dress that you find and like but want to make a small change.

I understand bespoke to be a garment that is made from scratch not an off the peg item that is altered or changed in anyway.

I only know this as my friend studied 'bespoke tailoring' and keeps reminding me of the difference?
