writing on a pebble

Hi all,

I would like all of my guests to leave messages on a pebble much like the image below. Any ideas what sort of pen/paint could be used for this? Thank you Hannah xx

Liquid chalk pens would be ideal- like they use for outdoor chalk boards at pubs etc

Lots of different colours available.

We buy ours from ebay, packs of 6 for about £4

Maybe sharpies? I think they're meant to be good for writing on anything.
