WW Friendly snack suggestions?

Shiny, 14 of June of 2008 at 13:41 Posted on Beauty & Wellbeing 0 10

Hi all,

I'll be going back to WW in a few weeks when my baby is old enough for me to do so. I'm not pointing at the moment at all but I'm breast feeding at the sec so need to snack a fair bit. I'm struggling to find snacks that can be grabbed with no preparation and eaten with 1 hand or quickly as it often takes 2 hands to feed.

My preffered pain au chocolat ? were the reason I lost no weight whilst BF last time..... ??

Any suggestions?

When I can prepare stuff to eat I'm eating crumpets, toast, cereal etc. If I have 2 hands I'm eating yoghurt. I'm not a huge fruit fan but have been eating bananas.

I'm looking for replacements for the chocolate/cakes/buscuits so I'm maintaining/losing weight for now and not gaining any!

Thanks.

Not replacements for chocolate exactly, but WW have started doing a caramel wafer thing, 1.5 points each, and they taste fine - you can get them in the supermarket.

WW do a whole range of biscuits and cakes that should be available in your local supermarket and then once you get yourself back to class there's always the selection of choccie bars. Most of the cakes/biscuits come in around the 1.5pts mark.

Oh and I forgot to add - snackajacks! Especially the large ones (come in a variety of chocolate flavours) and work out at 1pt each. A couple of them on your plate with a cup of tea and you're good to go!

Cereal bars? The Jordon (sp?!) are only 2 points and the oat baked bars (I think these are made my nutra grain?) are 3.5 points and are really filling. Oats are good for breastfeeding mothers as well I think?

I have to sort the tea out a minute. I have a long list here of snacks. I'll post them later for you.

This a link to a really good website of a lady that follows WW. The link takes you to the snacks page.

Thanls all, I had forgotten snack a jacks. I went to get some weetos bars that I used to have and couldn't find them. Anyone seen them about?

I'm going to have to have a hunt in the supermarket as I'm still eating rubbish.
