Anyway - Princess Jen - if you aren't a troll then as others have said the text speak makes me switch off to be honest - you might have noticed we don't really go in for it. Also I'm a great believer in weighing up the feel for a forum and hanging out a bit before starting lots of threads but then that could just be me!

Oooh a Facebook group...yes please! I have requested membership and await approval (I am desperately trying to get my post count up so you ladies know i am a true hitcher! I wouldnt want to be accused of troll status! ha!)

Saracroft you are definitely not alone in your 'trollish' thoughts though, I certainly sensed that all may not be as it seems and perhaps is the reason why i havent replied to any of her posts! Nona, perhaps you could train me up as your troll spotting lieutenant?

Princess Jen, if you aren't a troll, and you are really genuinely concerned about no one answering your posts on an internet forum, then you really should get out more.

I think we've all posted things at some time or another which have not been answered. To get the hump about it is ludicrous.

I'm at Northampton uni. Only one year to go! Can't wait until i finish.

My favourite was the chat thread "anyone want to talk about weddings?" (obviously written in text speak, which I refuse to do!) ? Nope, can't stand them personally. That's why I'm on a Wedding website in the Wedding Planning section. Sorry, had to vent that! Apologies Jen if you're a real bride. I'm sure you're not, but just in case!

Thanks, I'm doing a race and immigration module and romanticism and my dissertation in something race related! I really need to decide sharpish (open to offers if anyone has an idea for a good dissertation topic!). I've not had an official book list released yet, but i'll be emailing my tutors next week (i feel like another week of reading trash guilt free! lol!) x

Personally i didn't reply to any of her threads because the bad grammar and text speak really annoyed me.

Glad I'm not the only one who gets annoyed by that!

Personally, I didn't reply because:

1. I found your posts rather banal and couldn't be bothered to reply;
2. I hate txt spk;

My first impressions of "Jen" was she was a little gung ho and as someone else said, had failed to see how the board works before launching into it.... I thought it was youthful niaivity (plus the text speak...grrr) but now you mention troll I may have to change my opinion!
