I have just booked my first dress appointment here and wondered if anyone has any feedback from it. Is it expensive?

Hi, I went there. The ladies were really nice, went through a small questionnaire to get an idea of what kind of dress I wanted. I tried on about 4 dresses ranging in price from about £1100- £2400. I got my dress from mia sposa in the end tho Smiley smile

I went in to have a look, but didn't try any dresses on as I hadn't made an appointment. They had a good range of dresses but not really what I was looking for. I think they are mostly upwards of £1000.

Accent Original in Newcastle is really nice too...

Great thanks! I had heard good things about it but wasn't sure of price! To be honest I'm not really looking to spend more than £1000 so hopefully they'll have some cheaper ones, but if not at least I can get an idea if style etc. Thinking of going to Wedding Essentials too.

Ooh, perfect forum for me! Just starting to think about looking for my dress in Newcastle. Think I am going to book an appointment with Mia Sposa first and see how i get on there. Although I am starting to worry about the cost of the dresses in shops in Newcastle from what I have read/seen so far. Does anyone know of a bridal shop where you can pick up dresses for more around the £500-£750 mark? I really don't want to spend £1000 on something I am only going to wear once.

Oh good I'm glad someone else is just starting to look! It's so hard knowing where to start! I went into Wedding Essentials on Dean street yesterday to book an appointment and they had a sale on....from what I saw it looked like their dresses were about 500-800ish. I only saw a couple while I was booking though.
