So, I emailed Tottenham FC customer services a couple of weeks ago to see if I could get a signed letter for my OH to give him on the wedding day (he's a massive, lifelong Spurs supporter)- had an email back saying that they'd try and sort something but, as it's the off season they couldn't guarantee it- so I didn't get my hopes up too much; although they were very pleasant and helpful.
I got home from work on Friday to find a rather innocuous looking letter addressed to me; opened it and it's a signed letter from AVB to my OH on Tottenham headed paper, with a signed photo too! ? I'm over the moon! Going to write them a very grateful email today to thank them for sorting it, and SO quickly! It's brilliant; talks about marriage being about 'teamwork', etc. and it's all properly personalised for him.
He will be chuffed to bits. I'm going to present him with it at the wedding, this poster is one of his presents for the morning:
