YEAH my invites are done at last *flash*

Ok I may have lied a bit as they are not all done, after the amount of putting together that was needed today its goign to be a while till they are all good to go. But I do officially now have guests that have been invites!!


Here are my little jam jars, they have 'spread the love Ella and Marc' written on teh label


Then these are my home made shortbread heart shaped biscuits this label says 'Marc and Ella's Kitchen'


These are Fortnum and Mason tea bags which have a little tab put on the end of the string which say 'perfect blend E&M'


2 tea bags then go into these 'Tea for two' packages


And then finally they all get put into a brown paper bag with a luggage tag on

As you can see they are taking a while to put together but some have gone out and there will be more going out during the week.

    Thanks Nat,

    Have said from the start that as all my guests are going to have to travel and pay to join us want them to feel spoilt from the get go.

    Mrs C - I knew what wanted told my MIL2B and she made all the paper stuff so its her thats talented really. Although obviously the guests wont know that!! he he

    That is such a fab, original idea! Your guests are going to be sending their replies back so quickly to make sure they don't miss out on your big day when they see the effort you've gone to with the invites ?

    Ashlil and Kat44 most of them will be hand delivered. My parents are coming down this weekend so they will pick up a load as well and they will be hand delivering up in Kent and London but the rest are going to be placed in a packaging box which will then be wrapped in brown paper and tied up with string before being sent (so as to keep in with the whole feel).

    Thanks ladies I am quite happy with the way they turned out, we were going to have a tea towel as well bit ran out of time.

    Where did you get the jam jar labels from i.e. so you can tell the jar hasnt been opened?! i neeeeeeeeeeeeed to find out, im doing jams & chutneys for my favours :o)

    I didnt make the jam my venue gave it to me for free (as they are so lovely there) and i then stuck another label on the front sorry i cant help.
