''You May Now Kiss The Bride''

Is anyone else dreading what happens next? I hate being in PDofA and even thought it's my wedding day, I'll still be dreading it. What are you planning on doing for your first kiss? Open mouthed? Tight mouth? Church tongue? Porno tongue? ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eetoyOPtzLg

I hope we do get a "You may now kiss the bride" in our ceremony as I like the tradition, but if so it will definitely be chaste. Definitely no porno tongue.

I think I'm going to ask the registrar to say "you may now kiss the Groom" to me instead!

Or how about get them to say "you may now kiss each other"?

Maybe we'll ask for "and now for the smooch"!

I went to a wedding in the summer and the vicar said 'you know what to do!'

Was there an episode of DTTB recently where the vicar said "you know what to do" and the groom looked clueless, or am I imaging that?

Yes and he didnt know what to do! lol

Just came back from shopping ...so have only just caught up with this thread.

Although I love any top gun esq idea theres a flaw to your plans girlies.

The OH never wears sunglasses....says it makes him look vain and think he's so it.

So instead I get squinty summer hols pictures.

I am quite anxious about this - mostly because I am really self conscious, so it is just one of many aspects about the ceremony (not to mention the speeches and first dance) than I am pretty nervous about.

Yes, of course - but other people around usually entails friends who you happen to be with, not a room of 80 people whose attention is soley focused on you. I usually hate being the centre of attention, so that's obviosuly soemthing I need to learn to deal with before the day!

For us, we're not going to worry about it, or think about it. H2B and I are not shy when it comes to the lovey dovey side of our relationship, and although i don't like everyones eyes on me....they'll be invited to my wedding so its part and parcel of the day.

Just bring it on....thats all i say lol xx

We're just going to do a little kiss, I get embarrassed to kiss him in front of my parent's at the best of times. Then afterwards we will take a few minutes out and have a proper one and a little cuddle.

LOVING the top gun high five idea. My OH says it should be followed up with the line "take me to bed or lose me forever" haha!

Am I the only one not embarrassed by this? I can't flipping wait to kiss my hubby! As long as he resists grabbing my bum it'll be fine tee hee!
