Sorry I can't help with your question. However I'm curious about this website to, seems to good to be true?

Chinese copies. see FAQs on site.

There are some chinese companies which look quite good, but I'd go for one which has its own photos done: the ones on there are all copied from the designer websites so you can't see anything they have actually made.

I also was thinking it's too good to be true! ive read some reviews & they have all been good reviews but still unsure!

It's a uk based website, but am still going to do more research!

5618 is not the dress I'm looking for, gorgeous dress though, thanks anyway ? xxx

Remember that a UK domain doesn't necessarily mean a UK company.

A quick check on Nominet reveals that while the .co.uk domain is registered to an individual in the Channel Islands notice how the site automatically redirects to the .com version of the domain which is registered to an individual in Hong Kong (China) which has already been pointed out.

If you're really not sure, consider a sample gown from a bridal boutique. They're the real deal and you can still save £££s but without the worry!

Dear,I have not ever gotten a dress from the store, but you can go ahead have a try..maybe..

What kind of wedding dress do you prefer?A little formal, vintage?Or a little bit casual, like short or tea lenght? What about the color option?

As for me,I definitely love this one

Hope you will get your desired dress as early as possible.

So my dress arrived. It's not as close to the original as I would have liked & at the moment my boobs hang out. I did send smaller measurements to allow for planned weight loss tho. At the moment I'm not sure I'm 100% happy with it but that's more to do with my own choices rather than what they have made. Anyway, here's some pics!

See what I mean about my boobs?! I can't rock around like that on my wedding day! I'm considering having straps added & snipping off some of the sequins on the detail. The original doesn't have sequins really, just beading & crystals.

It is a very beautiful dress, the detail is lovely, it does look well made.

Is the material they used the same as on the original dress? Thats my main worry because I love the material on the dress i have chosen!

Did you ask them to change it from the stright top? Is that why the lace edging has gone?

That said, it is a very pretty dress and you should get a seamstress to have a look before adding straps; it may be a straight alteration job which will give you the strapless look you originally wanted. I like the two contrasting tones, and if the overlayers are hand stitched into the swags you (or someone you pay) would be able to snip them easily and rehang into the original shape (I saw the other thread where you wanted the gathers at the side ideally).

It looks very pretty on you (or should I say you look very pretty in it!) but does need some tweaking I think, which is to be expected in any dress.

    Thank you!

The original was made out of a very pale gold tafetta which I didn't want. I asked for champagne organza & that's partly why it looks quite different to the original. They will make it in whatever material you ask for.

Yes I requested a sweetheart neckline hun & I didn't want the frayed lace edging as per the original.

I've asked the dress maker who's making my bridesmaid dresses to add bones in the hope that will solve the support problem! I'm not sure I want to change how the skirt hangs now. The more I look at it, the more I like it better!

    Thank you.

From what I understand, so many bridal companies manufacture in China/Thailand/India, so they could even be being made in the same factory - something to think about!

Although what makes a dress special IMO are the small finishing touches, which may not translate as well in a copy x

Yourbridalwear actually used to have a statement on their website that said they made dresses for one of the big designers.

They can't make a direct copy because it's illegal. My dress is technically a one off because it's actually quite different to the original dress it was based on. At first I wasn't sure but the changes & different touches make it special.

Wow your dress is lovely and you look beautiful. I have looked at yourbridal simply because the dress I like has been discontinued, but I am tempted!

    Thank you very much.

It's worth a try. I ordered mine thinking that if it didn't fit or wasn't what I wanted I'd sell it & go to plan b. My plan b was to have it made locally for about £500.

If you send accurate measurements (and don't send smaller measurements like I did!) I don't think you'll be disappointed.
