INo 1 and No 6 are my favourites. But they are all lovely. I've got all my venues booked havent thought too much about a cake for the party back here yet. Going to leave everything now snd just stress about christmas LOLxx

This is my first post, I'm getting married at the Alexandra Beach hotel on the 14th June 2012. I have never been to Zante however have heard it is beautiful. I wanted a beach wedding and had originally wanted Mexico. However we were going to do it on the sly so that people didnt feel like they had to come abroad if they couldnt afford it. My mam got wind however so we changed the venue when we thought she might sell a body organ to get there! Im really excited now and pleased to have found a forum with other Zante brides to be. I have booked with Thomson and am staying at the Planos Bay however am going to look into other suppliers for my flowers etc.

Hi nice to meet you am also getting married at the same place and staying at the same hotel but in October 2012 i originally book with Thompson but canceled and and booked with Frances as you get a lot more for your money it will be nice to keep in touch so u can tell me what its like etc

I am also getting married at Alexnadra Beach but not until 30th July 2013, i am just excited seeing everyones plans coming together for next year. We saw a wedding at the Aloexandra Beach this year when we went on holiday and it was lovely they put alot of effort into your day.

Thanks for making me feel so welcome! OOOh yes i would love my deatails adding please. Myself and Brett are to be married on the 14th June 2012. I have my dress and i get excited just thinking about it......scary thing is that OH has said what he imagines i would pick.....and its nothing like that lol.Oh what is the problem with the dress you have? Is it not what you are wanting now? I know when i tried dresses on at some points i would have loved to be A millionaire and have at least one dress change! However when i found the dress i knew it was the right one for me. As far as the rest of the organising is going its just save save save at the mo. I booked with Thompson however if i had found this forum first i may have looked elsewhere, i just didnt really have a clue as to where to start.

I havent had time to read through all of the posts, however im really pleased with how Alexandra Beach sounds from your posts as i havent been!

I'm just not sure about the dress I got 1st probably cos I haven't been trying on other dresses to compare and cos it wasn't exactly how I imagined it when it came, my fault there thou my head just thinking something else even thou it did say satin in the description, but still a nice dress, so will know when the other comes I think! ?

You can always sell one on ebay hon or wear them both!!!!! one for the day and one for the evening LOL

Mrs BtoB told me about your thread and it looks amazing!

Jon and I booked our wedding at the Alexandra Beach Hotel, Tsivili 5 weeks ago - we had been looking at it for a couple of months and when we went out there to view it and meet the wedding planner we fell in love with it!

We get married in August 2013 on the beach and have hired out the beach bar to ensure it is private to us. We are going for a relaxed theme with BBQ, cocktails and beach games.

We have 60 people coming out with us - which I believe is a lot for a UK wedding abroad!!

As for dresses after going to a few shows and shops I have been told not to shy away from big traditional dresses as the hoop at the bottom will actually help keep me cool as the air can get to my legs!

My only problem to date is finding a wedding photographer - so if anyone has any recommendations I will be really grateful!

I am also getting married at the Alexandra Beach Hotel on the 30th July 2013, when in August are you getting married and who have you booked through?

We also went out there this year and saw a wedding at The Alexandra Beach it looked lovely, not sure on feed etc yet but ages to go before deciding. I can't wait to see everyones updates on their weddings on here next year, they sound like they are all going to lovely.

I get married on 22nd August 2013 - we have hired the beach bar, bbq and disco too.

Have you decided on your entrances?? I am worried about the traditional entrance as I fear it will result in me falling haha!

We booked ours through the hotel with Nadia the wedding planner. We met her a couple of times while we were there and she was lovely and so helpful!

How are you both getting on for photographers?

We met Maria and Nadia when we was out there in August they are lovely, we was thinking of booking with them, but we changed our minds and booked with Francis from Tsvili travel, i think she has alot of dealings with them.

To be honest i haven't really looked into anything as so far away, but when we was out there we saw a wedding at the hotel and they used a man called Richard who i know Nadia uses. He looked very proffessional and they said he's photos we're lovely. I may use him. Did you manage to see a wedding when you was there?

Hopefully we will be able to get some ideas from everyones weddings next year.

Nadia also recommended Richard to us and I have been told that he also provides First Choice with wedding photos for their brochures.

I have tried emailing him a few times - the first time I contacted him he replied immediately asking for our date and promised to send us some samples. However we have not heard from him since and he has failed to reply to any other emails.

I am hoping it is just the time of year and that he will contact us in the New Year.

Apart from Richard I don't know of any other photographers.

We are getting married in Zante next September. We really liked the look of Alexandra Beach Hotel, but went with Cameo Island in the end.

That's true what you say about the dress, mine is quick 'big' but it will have a hoop, so fingers crossed it will keep me cool!

Our wedding photographer is included in our wedding package, but you can contact him direct to upgrade the package. We have contacted him as we wanted a storybook album. He has been really lovely and very quick to respond. His name is Lucas here is a link to his website

Hi Im planning on getting married in Zante 2013! Seems to be a long time away but so much to get my head around... I was searching online for wedding photgraphers/videographers in Zante and i cam accross your post. Do you know who will do your DVD for Zante Weddings. Are they up to uk standards? I saw some videos online but im a bit confused who would be doing my zante weddings dvd? Do you get to choose like with the photographer or is there just one videographer? everything else seems to be pretty straightforward but im a bit confused on this!! feel very behind all of you have your dresses already, think i need to get a move on!! any info would be really appreciated. RL xxx
