I haven't got that far yet but if you have Facebook Francis page has photos of people's weddings and they are watermarked with the name of the photographer maybe it's worth having a look Smiley smile

I have already spoken to them story studios I think they are called, they seem really good but the prices are quite expensive - maybe i am naive I didn't realise how expensive wedding photos are! x

    Hi

we are looking at getting married September 2013 - Alexandra Beach Hotel

we like the deluxe package with extra`s of flowers and a arch..

    my question is the costs?

when you pay the £200 for your date and then choose a package (We are not having a reception as we are thinking about have a relaxed informal meal at a local restaurant when we are there.. ) is this all the costs that are involved or is the venue for your wedding ceremony a separate/ further cost.

we are on a very tight budget and are not 100% sure of what we are paying for.

also is it £200 deposit to secure your date and the £200 for the package....

i think that we are unusual in that we are just wanting the wedding and not the reception.... we do want to have wedding cake and champers afterwards but we just want to go and do our own thing after....

    is this weird.?????

    Tezla x

    Hello,

From the paperwork I have received it says that all deposits come off the final cost of your wedding package, yes you have to pay 200 euros to secure your date and then a further 200 euros to secure your venue (approx £150 each time)

Once you book your date they send you a user name and password to access a hidden section of their web page with lots more info on

I also am only booking my ceremony and not a reception choosing to do our own thing at restaurant so if your weird so am I!!!

At the moment I can't praise the team enough they have been very helpful on the phone and reply to my emails very quickly although I imagine they are rushed off their feet a it's summer season

Good luck with what you decide and your planning

Let me know if you need any more info

    Kelly

    Hey future Mrs West

    thats great thanks

We are going out for a holiday on 3 weeks and Frances has agreed for us to meet with her whilst we are there to go over any questions etc..

what date are you getting married..? and where?

I was reading some posts where women have got their dresses rings etc and still 14 months left..

i was like " whooopppss not very organised not even booked it yet or thought of a date...!"

congrats on you wedding by the way x

    Hi,

Wow i wish I was going on holiday! When you get back you will have to message me what Francis is like in the flesh!! It's great that you will be able to get all our questions and or worries answered tho before you commit,

We are getting married on Wednesday 7th August 2013 at Cameo Island it is going to be a very small intimate ceremony only 16 of us in total but just what we want, I hope cameo is just as beautiful as the pictures I've seen,

Apart from booking my date and venue all I've done is ordered and sent my save the date, I picked a magnet it's credit card size from the card gallery I actually am really pleased with the finished product and It was only £6.50 for 10, I am seriously not a bridezilla and don't have the time to turn into 1 plus I need to lose a little weight before I think about a dress and I'm sure the year will fly by but August seems such a long way off,

Once you've come back from your holiday I'm sure you'll get right into your wedding planning

With Frances at Tsilivi Travel there is no minimum amount of time you have to be in Zante for.

    Hope that helps

Hia! Im getting married on August 13th at the Shoestrings venue and we've booked through 'Alexandras Dream Weddings'. We're using Wilburn Productions for our photography, they are British but based in Zante and they seem quite reasonible, well compared to prices in the UK anyway. May be worth checking out?

I tried Wilburn but she wont work with Frances/Frances wont work with her. Which is a shame because she seemed really nice and good value!

Oh really? Maybe Wilburn are tied into contracts with other wedding planners? I just noticed your from South Wales too, I suppose we have to get married abroad just to escape the Welsh weather ?

    Hey ladies!

Not sure if its ok to post here as i am not marrying until June 2015 hahaha! But just wanted to say met Frances at the national wedding show yesterday to put our deposits down and she is lovely, We also have quite a few greek friends in Tsilivi & they have all said how good she is at her job & will make our day extra special.. So that's good to know that she has a well known reputation!

I am getting married at the Balcony ...i booked through Frances and also booked the meal through her for afterwards at the Balcony. After reading your post i am starting to think that maybe i could have saved some money by booking direct with the hotel for the meal?

    Hiya, congratulations to everyone.

Im looking at sept 5th 2014 for cameo island. I was looking at just booking the ceremony with tsilivi travel and then booking the others on my own.

We will be staying at the Marelen hotel in kalamaki as I've been twice and my mum has been every year for 10 years so are like our second family Smiley smile

Im disappointed to read wilburn don't work with frances as that's who I picked from looking on websites.

Any other photographers you would recommend?

I'm stuck where to have my food I was thinking contacting a restaurant we both loved directly and asking for a deal on a set menu. Any ideas?

    Thankyou everyone

    Siobhan x

Congrats to all those happy couples getting married overseas! We had an overseas wedding recently and it really makes for a memorable experience for everyone. A service we discovered and should prove useful for others getting married abroad was www.mypartymix.co.uk. We didn't want to risk the entertainment on an unknown quantity local band/dj - they just took our music, made an amazing mix which we stuck on an iPod. Very simple and went down a storm.

    Good luck all.
