Hi, I’m Sam, a creative documentary wedding photographer based in Bristol, photographing weddings across Somerset, the South West, the UK and beyond. I believe the best wedding photographs happen when you’re relaxed and simply enjoying the day. Rather than stopping you for lots of poses or directing every moment, I take a natural, unobtrusive approach that allows you to spend time with the people you love while I capture everything as it unfolds. From the nervous excitement before the ceremony and emotional moments during the vows to big hugs, laughter, crazy dance moves and all the little interactions in between, I’m looking for the moments that tell the real story of your wedding. I’ve photographed over 500 weddings and have spent 15 years documenting celebrations, bringing my background in filmmaking and documentary storytelling into my photography. My aim is to create honest, timeless images that capture not only how your wedding looked, but how it felt to be there. Alongside candid documentary photography, I also offer relaxed and creative portraits, giving you a beautiful collection of images without taking you away from your guests for long periods.
