Morning everyone, I just updated/added to the list so it should be up to date

Nothing to report from me at the moment, we're at a bit of a standstill. Glad to see you're all getting on well with your planning, enjoyed catching up on the thread as I don't come on here on weekends!

800 Days to go for me today!

Seems so far away but Im glad I can relax a bit and take my time still.

My 'will you be my bridesmaid?' cards arrived yesterday from America, Etsy.com! They are absolutely perfect, can't wait to hand them out to the girls at my engagement do on the 10th May! Hopefully they will say yes!

Afternoon all, not been on here much the last few days i've been working away on our wedding webiste ?.

I was wondering if any of you lovely people would like to volunteer and have a quick nose through our website once i've got the frist "draft" done and see if I have missed anything off or there are any glaringly obvious typos etc. or have any other comments. If anyone does want to be a have a look just let me know and I'll message you the details.

Thanks ?. Will look into the accommodation thing as everyone who is coming is local, but i guess it would be nice for people to have the option to stay over somewhere.

Yeah, i'm glad the way the RSVP works too, I was wondering how we would get round it, but I am super happy with it. The addedd bonus of being able to put som much information on the website it cuts down on the information we need to put on/in with the invitations. I was originally looking to do pocket fold ones to have all the infomration, but I wont need to now, so it opens up the options a lot more. We were talking about it last night, and the only person who wouldn't have the internet is my nan, bu my uncle would be able to show her and do it for her.

Thanks both. Took me a while to figure out how to use it. I did do a sperate post about them and one of the lovely ladies (sorry can't remember her name at the min) there gave me an "idiots guide" to getting started which really helped.

I've seen some websites where they include information on the wedding party - might be an idea if you know you'll have groups of people who aren't familiar with each other? I know on the site it says you don't want to include loads of backstory but maybe just 'bridesmaid 1 - bride's sister' that sort of thing?

Hmm, that could be an idea, we are only have a small wedding party though, just thinking about it now, could get the best man and my MOH to write a little bit to put on the website about them/how they know us..hmmm...would have to think of a way to not cause grief with my sister (shes not involved in the wedding for various reasons, you may have seen a post or 2 about it), but shell alsways make an issue out of whatever I do, that's just the way she is, at least i've got my fantastic mates (and you guys).

Thanks for all the feedback on the website. I have made some changes based on what you all suggested. I'm taking it back off-line now until it is closer to the time and I have made a few more final touches. I may need your reviews of it later down the line. Ok so I know i've got two years yet but is it a crime to be organised? I have planned my wedding down to the last detail and I am really enjoying it. I know what my budget is so I don't need to worry about the money side of things but, I am getting a bit fed up of people saying "its two years away yet" and "what if you change your mind about the details". I won't change my mind and yes it is two years away but please leave me alone to enjoy planning the most special day of our lives - rant over LOL!

Rant away, 2016 will be here before we know it, look, it's already April now, it'll be Christmas again soon (sorry te he he)

Shelly - Jen is right, it'll be here before we know it I've definitely had my fair share of pulled faces when I say our date, but we chose it for a reason so that's what matters.

As for me, not much happening on the wedding front, still. We haven't spoken about it since the venue fiasco, so about 2 and a half weeks now, except to agree that we'll go to see the new venue once it's renovations are done at the end of this month. I'm starting to accept that the first venue is pretty much never going to happen now...

In lighter news, we finally have a move in date! We bought a house 2 years ago and have been renting it out while we save up to move in. It looks like our date is going to be June 23rd, or mabe the weekend before. Exciting, and scary! So that's going to distract me from wedding planning for a month or two, until we're settled in

I'm really lucky, nobody has pulled a face over ours being in 2016, we only get, can't you do it sooner? te he he

That's a bit rubbish over the venue thing. You never know once these renovations are done it might look awful and you get the choice you prefer.

YAY, fab news on moving though (that my OH's birthday) exciting times all round.

Jen thanks for allowing me to rant lol - I agree. This year is whizzing by. Not that I am wishing my life away but I hope next year goes by quickly too.
