Congratulations on finding your dress it sounds beautiful!
If you tried it with a veil and wasn't keen then go with your gut. I very much doubt it would look plain at all but if you wanted a bit of something to add - with a sweetheart neckline and an up do then maybe there is scope for a nice necklace and matching earrings? Or if you want something to go in the hair maybe incorporate a flower or two? Simple is always better in my opinion especially if you have a stunning dress! 😊 Hope this helps x

She also thought there was something not right with the veil. I don't know if it was because the other dresses I've tried on have been ivory and this is white, but I think there can't be that much difference 😅

It’s totally personally preference and is up to you!
If you feel like a veil doesn’t look quite right then there’s nothing saying you have to have one.

The hairstyle you’ve chosen looks beautiful so if you don’t want any hair accessories then I don’t think there’s any risk of you looking plain at all!
I think someone said earlier on that you could wear a necklace or some delicate earrings to add some accessories but there’s no need for anything super blingy if that’s just not you.
Do whatever feels right for you 🤍

Hi, the dress sounds beautiful but it’s all down to how you feel. If you personally feel like a veil will be too much or not you, what about a hair comb? Or if your hair is perfect as is, a lovely necklace would be just as beautiful and simple.

If it makes you feel better, I'm also going with no veil or hairpiece. I worried it didn't look bride-y enough but when I tried a few things on I felt they just detracted from, rather than adding to my dress. I've gone for a big sparkly pair of earrings and that is all.

I'm definitely going no veil! Similar to you I just felt it covered up my dress! Debating a bridal boho headband but quite willing to have no headpiece whatsoever if nothing feels like winner - people on this group really helped me realise that you only need it if it makes YOU feel special, because you're in a wedding dress so you already look like a show stopping bride!

But inside I felt the dress just "says it all"....we're going with rustic theme throughout so I've searched bridal boho ideas but nothing stands out to me. Maybe I'm just too fussy 😄 xx

I would go for just some little diamante hair grips dotted about if you dont want a big focal piece in your hair x

This is my hair trial the other day, I am not having a veil and this hair accessory is only from Amazon, I am going to have 2 pearl hair grips in each side to add a bit of interest but that is it. I wanted to be able to see the back of my dress as there is a pearl detail on there. Good luck whatever you decide!
