Afternoon tea wedding

I'm thinking of a afternoon tea for my wedding. Has anyone had one? I'm looking for a venue in northwest UK. Merseyside, Lancashire area

I love afternoon tea. We're going for afternoon tea after our statutory registry office ceremony, we're having our reception a couple of days later.

Depending on which venue you book, I found these caterers who specialise in afternoon tea.

An afternoon tea sounds like a lovely idea for a wedding, especially if you want something relaxed and a little different from a traditional reception. I’d definitely include a good selection of black tea alongside lighter options, as it gives guests a familiar choice. If you’re comparing different varieties, this guide may also help with choosing a good black tea: https://tasteoftea.com/blogs/best-tea-choices/best-black-tea. Hope you find a great venue in the Merseyside or Lancashire area!
