Im all excited my fiance had ordered invitation samples n theyve just arrived ? cant get hold of our church to arrange a meeting to book the date, I just want to get started now ? at least using the church hall we dont have to cut down on the numbers so everyone we want can be there ? our budgets only £6000 but we have a lot of family friends who can do things like the cake and the flowers. hes in work i just want him to come home so he can look at them hehehehe.

We are getting married at Cooling Castle Barn and we cant wait!!!!!

I was at our venue the other day showing me nan and mum around and had a quick look at their 2012 diary (as OH and I thought we might bring it forward), well they only had 4 saturdays left for 2012! How mad is that! And they have just released their 2013 dates!!!!

I've not posted on here before but I've been lurking, I sort of feel a bit like an imposter because I can't really contribute or advise anyone being so early on in the planning stage but its nice to see that there are quite a lot of other 2012 brides.

I am so relieved to have read your post!

We've booked the sat after you, the 14th of July at the Old Fruitmarket!! I was beginning to think that no one else was having their wedding there!!

We're a little anxious about the whole 9 month thing too....we're in exactly the same midset as you and are currently looking for a backup plan!!

We LOVE the Old Fruitmarket and nowhere else seems to have that Wow factor!!! We had both originally thought that we'd book either The Vu or the Barony. We weren't happy with the situation at The Vu, where there could be 2 weddings going on right next door to each other at the same time....and we were a wee bit worried about the size of the Barony!!

So excited to have found someone with the same situation!!!

Hi, havent booked yet but we are hoping for 2nd June 2012...i thought i was really organised but now seeing that all of you have booked your venues already im geting a bit worried lol

We're hoping to get married one weekend in August 2012. No date set until we find a venue.
