4 weeks today *Slight problem, advice welcome*

As every day passes my stress levels get higher. I am trying so hard to be organised but I still feel like there is a million and one things to do!!!

I still need to:

  • Print my stationery bits and pieces on scrap, check it looks ok in the frames and then print it properly and put in frames
  • Print tables for table plan, cut all the bits of card and stick together
  • Make favours but first find a fudge recipe that isnt a disaster (think OH is taking over after my 3 failed attempts! Otherwise I am buying the fudge!)
  • Book parking
  • Get travel insurance
  • Create a playlist for the DJ for the evening (not that necessary really but nice to have)
  • Practice our dance so we look semi decent
  • Exchange money for honeymoon
  • Sort out suit fittings (I am hoping all men have been measured now so it is just a case of trying on)
  • Buy little bits and pieces and a couple of gift bags for BM's (hopefully today)
  • Get a couple of new items of clothing for honeymoon and hold ups for wedding (hopefully today)

I suppose when you look at it it isnt a massive list but I had hoped it would have all been done by now!! The good thing is we have a week in between the wedding and the honeymoon so I can easily just pop into town to get a few small bits and pieces or exchange the money after or before work..

I spent 15 months wishing time would hurry up and now I would quite like it to slow down.

ETA: I have started to wear in my wedding shoes and have realised my right one is a bit small so my toe goes right to the end. Is there anything I can do to stretch it slightly?

Hey, best thing to do is get a calendar, get your list and write on the calendar 1 or 2 tasks your going to do each day, that way you can see what you have left to do and when your going to do it, your stress levels will come down and you can start to relax and enjoy.

    Hope that helps

I agree with a task a day, or something that spreads the load a little, I'd also see if OH can take a couple, like the parking one, or travel insurance

I'm a real planner, minutae detail...but I do it all day, so I just sort of think like that,,,.for me, I'd clear a couple out of the way quickly, and leave time for the fun ones, like the favours and the BM gift shopping, and the dance - you should have time to love and laugh over those,,,,

have fun, and enjoy it all Smiley smile

If you want fudge, these guys: https://www.fudgekitchen.co.uk/wedding-fudge/ are amazing. They do free samples in their shop and my friends and I used to get them as often as we could get away with!

Someone told me recently that you should wear socks with shoes to stretch them out. Not had a new pair yet to try it on but it may be worth a go. Otherwise I'd have a few plasters stashed in someone's handbag just in case. Good luck with the rest. I'm sure it's manageable.

I am hoping to do the printing asap once the colour printer is back up and running. It is almost all ready to just print it onto the parchment.

I have decided to just keep wearing the shoes with thick socks, try and find a back up pair when I go shopping and get some ballet pumps for the evening. Why is it that shoes always feel fine when you try them on but when you come to keep them and there is no going back they suddenly start to hurt?!

Something like this, for leather shoes? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Collonil-Stretch-Leather-stretcher-100ml/dp/B001KEQRF2

Apparently shoe trees can also stretch out shoes, for better or worse.
