KBS you poor thing! My ex husband cheated on me and like others here, I knew. Well, I loved him so much I trusted him when he denied it, but deep down I knew. Just little things - he'd become more defensive, less attentive, less happening in the bedroom department - all the classic signs looking back, but I ignored them at the time because as I said, I loved him. I only knew for sure when his mistress phoned me one day after he'd left me, wanting sympathy that he'd dumped her!! Needless to say I was livid with her, but that's another story.

My current H2b wouldn't cheat. And that's a definite, he just wouldn't. Not the type at all, whereas my ex always had a bit of a wandering eye (I just thought it was only his eye, not any other part of his anatomy). Only you truly know your H2b and whether there's even the tiniest possibility there could be a grain of truth in all this.

I'm speaking of behalf of the rare breed of blokes who would'nt dream of cheating on their oh. I'd go mental if someone tried to pull that stunt on my relationship. You have to talk to your oh face to face & get the truth out of him. You have to know the truth one way or the other.

**UPDATE**

Well, my Oh came home from work and told me everything!

That he has indeed been having an affair for the last 9 months, it started just before Xmas.

I now know her name and all the other gory details, I have spoken to her and she has shown not one iota of remorse!

My OH is incredibly remorseful and is upset that he has abolsutely devastated me, I have cried buckets tonight and still more looming..

He has now texted her to say that it is over and that he no longer wants to see her.

We have a lot of talking to do as to whether we are staying together or not.

I think I may disappear though for a few days just to get my head together.

This is probably going to sound stupid at the minute but try and stay strong. It is very easy to stay with someone, it is much harder to leave, even if it's the right thing to do. Make sure you do what is best for you in the long run. Ask yourself if you think you will ever really trust him again.

Have you got someone you can talk to IRL? Or somebody you could go and stay with for a few days to give you some space?
