Noooo i was justa bout to start reading this and catching up!!! what happened in it?

I know! Thank god I was up early enough to read through the entire thing... pure comedy, has totally set me up for the day!

I've been rubbish on hitched recently, but after seeing Sara's facebook last night, I had to come on and check it! x

I was just about to post that on the thread and by the time I'd logged in it was gone!

Ooohhhh nooo! I had just started reading that, only got to page two and i was gripped, went to move onto page three and it was gone!!

Was there something truley terrible in it to make it dissappear? Can anyone give a brief overview - with out it being removed!?

Maybe if you ask Barry nicely he'll post his screencaps for you?

Seeing as it broke most of the forum rules I'm not surprised it was removed.

Hitched are only going to tolerate so much before they step in, and if "Barry" did make a complaint they probably felt they had no option.

Am i being very dim in not knowing what screencaps are?! ?

FFS!! I had just got to the end of p.5 and it told me the rest couldn't be found! So annoying ?

Fun while it lasted though. I doubt they removed it because Barry complained, I know we like to think the boards aren't moderated but they are. It lasted a good 12 hours longer than I expected it to.

Sounds like it got more fun after I left work (and therefore the internet) last night - I assume he came back and posted even more entertaining things?

Must admit when I saw the title of that thread I expected trolldom. I've been a Hitched member for while (despite not many posts, had to change my log in name as forgot my details!), and I can remember provocative posts about butterfly releases etc. (one inducing a sarcastic and v.funny response along the lines of 'why don't you just dye a load of puppies different colours and release them attached to parachutes?'. Tee hee).

To cut a v long story short and to not post anything that may get this thread removed................someone asked for recs for dove release for a friend. Cue 'Barry' posting about a particular company who were fantastic................cue hitchers pointing out the ad rules.............cue him replying that he is not an advertiser, he used the co. for his daughters wedding, and then continued with a load of waffle about how we are nasty people who have nothing better to do than sharpen our claws on people trying to help, and complained about some of the language used (nothing out of the ordinary for a good ole hitched thread!) and said he took screen captures of it all, complained to the top and we would all be banned! LOL!

Obviously there was a little more of that............I saw it as banter........as well as maybe taking the p out of him a little!!!

Did I cover it well enough?

Zipster - well summarised! However you didn't say anything about Barry's constant mention of his "blue chip company which employs 300 people in London alone" and apparently all 300 members of staff were offended by the post and a certain f word that rhymes with booker.
