KBS I've been in your position and it was the worst time of my life, I was so frightened...but it was absolutely nothing, as will yours be. The specialist could tell immediately just by examining me that it was nothing, but they did a (painless) biopsy too just to be sure. I still have my lump - the doc said it was completely harmless and just to leave it where it is, and less of an ordeal for me too than removing it would have been. Big hugs to you, feel free to ask me any questions at all and I will do my best to answer them for you.

Sending lots of positive vibes your way. I too have just gone through this and the 2 week wait for the appointment was unbearable I had all sorts of things going through my head. I had a scan on the same day and all was well. As most people have said it is probably nothing to worry about and it is good that you are checking and looking after yourself.

So sorry to hear, I was in same position a few years ago and thinking cos of my age not to bother going to GP, so well done for going!!

I did eventually end up going and after an examination and biopsy it turned out to be nothing. Yours will probs be same, GPs just like to send you to a specialist to be 1000% sure.
