I would be very tempted to travel to Leeds (few hours on the train from Edinburgh) and could get a cheap hotel room.

Although I'm away for our anniversary on 29th June and its Hs birthday on July 27th!! So maybe not!!

Thats if you'd have me of course!!

I am perfectly happy with either July 13th or 27th.

Of those I can only do 13th July.

I can only make the 27th of July! Unfortunely my one booked weekend in June and July falls on the other two dates!

27th July will be better for me.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest the task of organising will be near impossible. There won't be a single free weekend common to all. Then you are faced with the unpleasant task of choosing who gets excluded by dint of availability. Then people get offended when they realise it's the weekend they can't make it that's being pushed. And so on.

I think a straight Doodlepoll, with a simple tally of which date the most people can make (with no reference to who) might be the easier option?

Yes Footlong, I was thinking the same. Happy to go with the date that suits the majority. If I can't make it - so be it.

I agree- if it falls on one of my dates ace- if not I will just curse you all and cry!

I definitely can't do 14th or 15th June. Not saying that I can do the others for sure, but I definitely can't do that weekend.

I would be staying over so happy to double up with someone, also happy to travel down with any other Scotland based OTers - ATB?

Heard there's some decent shopping to be done in Leeds ? and that restaurant Kochanski mentioned in the other post looks mmm mmm.

I will gladly do any date possible, but if it turns out that 27th July is the best for everyone else I will be there in spirit! Not sure now how I am supposed to vote, but I can do any date except that.

I think the best thing is for everyone to post the dates they can or can't do then I'll tally the numbers up.

This post has made me realise how busy my social calendar is!! Now that i have a baby i seem to be making more of a massive effort to socialise and travel more...i was never this busy when i was without a child ha!!

If we arrange something in the next couple of weeks (so I have time to save for train/hotel) I could get a train up and stay the night also!
