I NEED to cover my cake and make 7 sugar roses. As I'm slow at doing them, I reckon that's a full days work ☹️

Also planning to pop to John Lewis for gift bags for the mums' presents, and get some Boots goodies for my honeymoon!

Why does my list seem to be getting longer the more productive I feel like I have been?! ?

They're so expensive too! I forgot to add it to my budget spreadsheet. £23 on 8 bags!!!

Must be the dah for gift bags! I just bought 10 glossy white large gift bags for £10 on eBay.

Now about to clean the house like every Sunday (after the wedding, my present to myself is a cleaner to come once a week. Yes I am that lazy and fed up of spending my weekends catching up with housework). Then I will probably do roast chicken, roast potatoes and veg for dinner.

I have just arranged collection of my wedding dress by a good friend of mine who lives in Warrington. I have bought it from Ebay and the seller is in Chester, so my friend is going to pick it up for me, but I wont get it till I see him in September :-(

I would like to start collecting bridesmaid dresses soon. The plan is to buy one a month from Ebay - they are £35 each, so I wont notice it as such a big hit if I do it that way.

Ok I got distracted. Just waiting for a batch of chocolate and coconut biscuits to cook. I added the coconut so I don't eat them. They are the boys fave though.

Well that's a much better bargain. If only I were more organised

It absolutely is the day for gift bag buying! We just went to M and S and got a couple of really nice ones for various folk, and a posh thank you card for my auntie and ucle who gave us the cake money.

We also got my bridesman's watch engraved, and found out we have to send my mum's bracelet off if we want to get that engraved, so might have to re-think.

Also ordered our dollars and pesos and bought some Deet mossy stuff for HM.

Today I have;

Booked the bar company for our UK reception

Ordered mens favours

Ordered bests man's pocket watch gift

Ordered bridesmaid bracelet gifts

Picked up wedding rings

-Printed the Poems for our Favours

-Framed our Grandparent's Photo's which are going on the Guest Book Table

-Sort of decided on my Hen Night outfit

-Re-wrote the To Do list, broken it down into when things need to be done by

-Potted our Bay Tree's

-Decided on 1 reading, 1 more to go

-Arranged Musicians for the Ceremony

-Emailed the Band

Had quite a productive weekend this weekend. I'm slightly alarmed that we only have 13 more weekends to go between now and the wedding, 1 of which I am on my hen do so 12 really to get stuff done!

Exactly this. Just add in a gardener, too. I cannot wait!

Ive not been up long as on nightshift so trying to sort out music but computer is playing up! Emailed some final details to wedding venue and sent some details to the florist and emailed photographer about food preference so he can eat something on day! Other than that doing a bit house work then back at work tonight!

Ive wrapped all presents and put in gift bags the other week only have my mams left to do but I'm waiting for the jewellery designer to drop it at my friends so I can collect it! She is cutting it fine! I'm far too calm with only 2 weeks to go and I'm just hoping I haven't forgotten anything!

Over the next few days I will be:

Writing and finalising wording for the invitation for our UK guests

Starting to think about boat trip logistics from church to reception

Try to source Copenhagen based photographers that aren't ridiculously overpriced, this is proving to be harder than expected ☹️

Looking at hair dos that my hair could potentially hold - my hair is horribly thick and won't hold a single curl without lashings of hairspray!

With 6 days to go, we decided that we'd go to the zoo instead! Saw a heavily preggers giraffe.

I cannot find one of these in my wedding folklore book so I am undecided if it has any portentous significance... ?

Had a very productive morning yesterday - went into town and bought wedding rings, my shoes and decided on and paid the deposit for the men's suits!

Today I'm waiting for my very creative brother (and his graphic designer flatmate) to e-mail me over the mock-ups of our invitations and playing around with ideas for our table centres. I have a horrible feeling our Christmassy-themed wedding is starting to get a bit overly Christmassy!

just got back from my hen do in bournemouth, does that count as wedding planning ?

Trying to get the last bits bought, so done OH daughters underwear and finally found something for me to wear under my dress.

Just cufflinks, tealight holders and some card for the table names and everything will be bought. Just need to pay for balance for the big stuff and DONE!

Im trying to get the final sizes for my handmade invites so that I can make up a proper sample one and see how it looks. For the life of me I can not seem to get these measurements right..its the inserts for the pockets I am struggling with..I measure them once, cut them out, try put in the pocket, too big. Cut them down by a small amount..too small..then I put in something even smaller which is too big...then I try it again and its too small, go back to the original size which is again too small!!!!

I am actually going crazy!

I *meant* to get most of our luggage tags for our wish tree made. However, then I collected our new kitten and the rest of the day went to pot ❤️

Tomorrow night I am hoping to get them all cut out and hole punched, and crack this damned gilding flake thing once and for all!

I have had some unexpected planning.

More guest list tweaking, table plan done (dependant on RSVPs, obviously, but I wanted to have a rough idea) favours decided, centrepieces decided and some more bridesmaid dress searching complete.

Trying to find a reception venue that's near our proposed ceremony venue to see if we can make it all work. Also, cursing my picky family who want the world for pennies.
