Baileys in the workplace

Storky, 16 June, 2011 at 14:56 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 7

Is this appropriate?

I'm partial to a glass of wine at my desk on a Friday afternoon.

Baileys is, it's non-alcoholic IMO (I have never got drunk off it).

Wine in the work place makes me feel really drunk... I put it down to context

Substiture Baileys with Dooleys and I'm there!

Although not necessarily at work. Might make the drive home dicey!

Baileys is practically healthy - sure there must be calcium in it - therefore completely acceptable.

Unless it's that hazelnut flavoured one that makes me want to gag....

Ooh I quite like the hazelnut one but only over ice - on it's own it's a bit cloying. Definitely acceptable in my view. Sadly not in my employer's view and I refuse to go down the route of hiding booze around my workstation!

Just under an hour until 'home time' for me - even though that means leaving home and going to the cricket. Woo hoo!

Sadly alcohol in the workplace is a sackable offence in my line of work...I imagine its beacuse we would probably tell customers what we actually think of them if we were under the influence.
