Barratts shoe purchasers - in 'ere!

Just had an email saying they have cancelled my order as "items did not pass our pre-dispatch quality checks". Anyone else had this problem. Sooo annoyed!

    Had a feeling something like this would happen. More like their website didn't update quick enough and they sold more stock than they had.

    It wouldn't let me buy any! The site kept declining my debit card, I checked definitely money in there and no reason why they were declining it Smiley sad

    My transaction seemed to go through OK and I haven't had any emails from them (other than standard publicity ones) so will see...

    My transaction went through, had confirmation emails etc. Just had 6 emails saying the order has been cancelled. Gaaah!

    I've just had emails outlining that pre-dispatch quality check thing for all my purchases. Did you check to see if the money had been removed from your bank?

    No stutter, it's just because I ordered 6 pairs (for £30!) Waaah I'm so disappointed. Looked on their website and they hardly have anything now.

    I've just had 4 emails through saying the same Spangler. Can't remember how many pairs I ordered now! Think it was 5.

    Yep - same here! Just got 4 cancellation emails. How annoying! One of those pairs was for me to wear to our "day after the wedding do" and one was for Mr B for Christmas. Got to find him somethign else now - gah!

    I just checked my mail and I'm not getting my Snow Leopard slippers!! ☹️

    Said nothing about the other stuff though.

    I agree with whoever said this will be cos they oversold in the rush.

    Perhaps we should all email back, saying that if 30 pairs of shoes have failed quality checks, we don't want them anyway....

    It let me reserve a bag for collection on Saturday, I had a confirmation email so I'll be pretty miffed if it's not there!

    Oh balls, me too. I only ordered one pair of black plimsoles type things, but still annoyed Smiley sad

    My old pair had fallen apart (literally), but they have a cute bow on the top that i love, so have been looking for moooooonths for some that would replace them, and the ones i ordered were the only ones I'd seen and liked Smiley sad

    Eugh I got the emails too. All 7 of my items have been cancelled as they are 'unable to fulfil my order'!! I'm blaming you Flow Rida, they obviously couldn't cope with the power of hitched Smiley winking

    Just received an email entitled 'cancelled orders' but when I opened it there was an apology for the delay in despatch, due to high volumes and my order should be with me in a few days. So fingers crossed. Will be gutted if they don't fulfill it as managed to find the perfect boots and I had been looking for months.
