Booked my Hen Weekend. Squeeee!

avintagebride, 9 August, 2011 at 19:06 Posted on Planning 0 14

My first hen weekend is in Edinburgh for close friends. There will be 20 of us (we are a large group!!!) and we found the most AMAZING accommodation.

A 3 storey Georgian townhouse, which sleeps 20. 52" and a 40" plasma. Playstation 3, Wii and SINGSTAR which we love and do all the time when we have had a drinky. A proper coffee machine, 5 pairs of straighteners and hair dryers, Egyptian cotton sheets, and free Molten Brown toiletries.

2 nights. £1000. 20 people = £50 each. BARGAIN.

Just the activities to plan now!!!!

I'm thinking meal out Friday night, spa day Saturday, and night out.

Sqqqueeeee!!!

2nd Hen night will be ONE week later ? in York. Last train back. Drinks and frolics so this will include family, work friends, and OH's friends WAGS.

Yey!!!

I've seen the pics for that place, it looks amazing. My other half is actually having his stag do there!. It may be a hen night house, but the cost is a bargain so they are booking there insted of a hotel, I'm so tempted to sneak in with him:-)

Im going to Edinburgh for my hen too!!! We have also booked apartments (stayed in the same one a 2 years ago). It is just around the corner from Harvey Nicholls. We have booked 3 lots all together (26 people in total in the apartments and another 11 staying in a nearby hotel). Our price is £53 per person so much about the same Much prefer staying in apartments as you have more freedom than a hotel i think. Im having a 1920s (flapper)/Hollywood Glamour theme for the Saturday evening. Not 100% sure about Friday evening yet. Will be booking somewhere for lunch on the Sunday to finish the weekend off. So excited as Edinburgh is one of my fave cities. Will also be having a pre hen hen for all those who cant make the BIG one. xx
