I've looked in to these and the adverts aren't very clear. Yeah sure the photoshoots may be reduced but they dont include and prints-that's where they get you! I might take a few shots myself in black and white and print them myself!!!

I was really nervous before mine but they were great at putting me at ease. Did lots of different poses with various props etc. Got my hair and make up done beforehand. They are stunning photos. I never thought i could look sexy but they came out great lol.

I went and got this done with a friend on Friday. We got a wowcher deal where it was 20 for both of us and we got one picture. I really enjoyed it! We had our hair, nails and make-up done and had lots of lovely bubbly! The photographer was great and put us at ease. I was very pleased with some of the pics and bought three extra ones for £100. I really want to show my OH but know I should keep it for our wedding day. I debated giving them for our anniversary next week but think I should wait.

Be realistic when taking on these deals and it won't surprise you. Nearly all boudoir shoots involve make up and hair, so there's £100 that needs to be recouped straight away.

Then there's the studio and photographers time, 2 hours worth of it. Plus there is the editing for the presentation where the 'selling' begins.

Offers on Groupon are usually subject to half of the amount you pay for the offer going straight to groupon themselves so a £35 deal will mean groupon gets £17.50 of that.

You would therefore be getting hair, makeup, a boudoir shoot and a free print for less than £20. The makeup lady and hairdresser will usually be external and will require paying. Which is why they sting you for the additional photos, otherwise they'll be running at a loss, let alone breaking even. It's common practice to get clients through the doors. You may be better researching and approaching a boudoir photographer personally and asking them what packages they offer. Expect to pay £300-£500

You'll probably get a better service with better results too.

When you think of it like that you are right, they have to make some cash. I was just commenting that getting five free shots was a very good deal when other deals are only giving one.

I would have liked to have got them all on disc but think this would have been a scary amount.

I'm currently trying to organise a boudoir shoot, and would also love the pics on a disk but agree, I'm faaar to scared to dare ask the cost of this.

Boudoir photography is a genre of sexy photography that involves female subjects in sexually suggestive or sensual poses.

I've got mine on Sunday. I get one free print so might just go with that. If it's hard to choose I might be in trouble but one photo is better than nothing!

Mine is cheap then! Mine is £125 (make-up, no hair though!) and all the photos on a disc!
