Your proposal story - Not particularly romantic- decided together and then he just 'proposed' over breakfast in bed. I had been waiting years though so wasnt complaining!!

Ooooh Mine is sooooo rubbish. lol We had been talking about getting married, we looked at venues etc. picked cake designs and everything else. A few weeks later, We went to his folks for dinner and his mum was a bit drunk as we all were, and was asking "when will you two get married" my OH - The romantic sod that he is said "We're going to buy her ring on monday" Thats my story, still at least he asked!! lol x

Oh Engagement...- OH flew me to Tenerife (where we met) for a holiday, after a day at the beach he ran me a bath and while I was in the bath he decked the balcony with candles and champagne and when I came out he took me out there and then got down on one knee, it was amazing. I saw the ring on the table so i knew what was happening, I was so excited and he was launching into this long speech about how much he loved me and all the time I was getting so excited thinking just ask me and put the ring on my finger lol! It was a total suprise, i had no idea it was coming, and he even asked my dad for permission!

Proposal story: 6th Sept 2004 took me to Milsoms for a meal, after the main corse he started saying how much he loved me etc, then the next thing i know he's on his knee with a ring in his hand...he later told me he was going to wait until after desserts but was so nervous he wanted it over and done with. We never did get desserts cos i wanted to run home to tell my mam.
