Chat up lines

Jolene2012, 14 February, 2012 at 15:07 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 11

I'll be honest Ladies, I've stolen this from the Guardian website, what is the best/worst chat-up line you've aver heard/used??

Mine was an offer to go back to his place for"hot chocolate and some hanky-panky"!!

Original article, some crackers on there, if they haven't all been moderated by now

I've only had awful ones said to me:

Are you a parking ticket? 'Cause you've got FINE written all over you.

Is that a ladder in your tights or a stairway to heaven??

    Yikes.

I hate chat up lines. When men have said them in the past, I just looked at them with my 'Please fvck off. Thank you.' look.

I think it depended what it was. If it was a boring common one then I wouldn't be impressed but if I hadn't heard it before then it would make me laugh.

I don't think I have ever been chatted up. A bloke at a works do once asked me if I would go up to his room with him so we could watch each other masturbate. I politely declined. Does that count?

Mr R does this too! Although in his case its more, so ridiculous that it makes me laugh, than charming.

My mate who has the gift of the gab used to just say in his broad Yorkshire accent 'fancy a sh@g?' and you'd be surprised how many would!!

The really memorable one for me was a lad (probably 23 to my 28) calling out to me "come on love can I walk you home" me replying in my poshest southern voice "no I don't think so" for him to say "I'll let you suck my ***" - wow that last line nearly changed my mind

I've had some really quite tragic lines thrown at me in clubs, but my fave was one my H heard once. He never used it on me, but one of our friends did and got a relatively longish relationship out of it. He walked up to a girl at a bar and said 'Excuse me, How much do you think a polar bear weighs?' she looked at him and said 'I don't know' he then said 'Just enough to break the ice' class!
