They are becoming more popular now. Quite a few of my past clients have had red dresses - I love them myself but I can see how it could shock some of the grandma's in the congregation! Dresses with burgundy detailing and black detailing are also very popular. Another style which I love are the shorter dresses, 50's style, with vibrant coloured net underskirts showing.

I'm having white and red with silver embroidery and it's the most beautiful dress I ever tried on!! (it's actually the only wedding dress I tried on it was perfect). I did have this idea that I wanted a white or ivory one until I saw it. ?

    ME!

I'm having a two piece outfit as I can rarely get dresses to fit properly and I don't want the hassle of a million alterations! I'm having a bottle green bodice (steel boned ? so that I can have a gorgeous wasp waist on the day) and a plain A-line ivory skirt. I saw the bodice about 2 years ago and just fell for it but just couldn't justify the price if it wasn't for a really special occasion so my whole colour scheme is built round this one bodice!
