colours

We're having ivory and hunter green.

Bridesmaids in green, the men of the bridal party will have matching ties, and me, FOB and BM will have matching waistcoats.

As we're having an autumnal wedding, we're also bringing in other autumnal colours as accents (gold, red, yellow, orange, brown etc) and as it's also harvest time, we're using lavender and dried cereals (oats, barley, wheat etc) in our table centrepieces.

Purple! not entirely sure if im stickin to just cadburys purple though im thinking of throwing a few lighter shades in too x x

We are having purple and teal, i don't have anything to flash yet though ?

These are my colours. My paige's and flower girls will be in pink, maids/ushers/bm in the green of the napkins, and my h2b will be in ivory to match me. THe men/paige's will have grey suits. Any accessories, shoes, jewellery etc will be silver.

Currently have ivory and green invites, table decs will be ivory, so will probably have a little pink running through the favours &/or placecards. Cake will probably be ivory with green &/or pink.

I actually don't know yet and get married in December!!! I am only having one bridesmaid (my sister) and I'm letting her pick her own dress and colour so I suppose whatever she chooses will be the theme, and we're off shopping next month for her dress. I did fancy just black and white but think maybe as it's Christmas there are better colours to have. But depends what sis chooses!

Surely it's the job of the bride and groom to choose their colour schemes, then tell the bridesmaids what colours they'll be wearing, rather than letting your sister pick a dress she likes and going from there...?

Yes usually I suppose. But my sister is my best friend and she knows me better than anyone, so I am not in the least bit worried!

Haven't got a colour scheme as such, just colours we like. Ideally I'd like the bridesmaids in a pale green, and then we're having accents of green, purple, pink and touch of blue running through the flowers I think.

Burnt Orange and Silver/Charcoal for us. Bridesmaid dress is Ivory on top and Charcoal bottom, Groomsmen are wearing charcoal suits with silver waistcoats, H2B is wearing charcoal suit with ivory waistcoat. Flowers are burnt orange calla lillies. We are decorating the venue in Ivory, burnt orange and charcoal colours. Sounds awful but actually looks really good together

We are having burnt orange too with a hint of pale blue. the colour will be in the flowers, napkins & grooms tie only. keeping it simple

I have picked persian plum for my bridesmaids going to plum and ivory colours for flowers and decorations

We're having green .. possibly going to tie in a bit of ivory too. Just unsure on the shade of green!! Struggling between Sage or Mint ?

We are having green too. Probably a bright lime though, or spring green, teamed with whites.

Were having Red, Ivory and silver and will be having the silver tree's as our center peices. We'll also be baving a few christmas trees dotted about in silver and red.

Not having a colour scheme as such. The flowers will be pale apricots, pale pink, ivory and herbs. My BM is wearing a pale blue dress and FG will be in ivory. Not sure what the groom is wearing just yet as I think he has changed his mind! So, bit of a hotch potch really. I think it will all look fine on the day though.

We are having black and white ? to which we have already had mixed reviews such as "its a wedding not a funeral". It really is a good job I dont care what other people think ?

We're just having black and white/ivory as OH wants a DJ and my daughter (the only flower girl/bridesmaid) wants to wear white/ivory. My only problem is what to dress our son in (he'll be paige boy/best boy aged 5 1/2)
