Completely O/T but I'm freezing!!!!

Me too.. Had to ask my step dad to put the heating AND the fire on!

It's not good it is!

I know!!! I am seriously considering the last minute purchase of a nice bolero or shrug for next week. I am gonna freeze in a strapless dress if its like this!

Oh my god tell me about it!!.. It was only a few week ago my central heating went on the blink and we thought ahh well will fix it in october when it starts to get cold.. By heck were we wrong!!.. (she says sat in fornt of the fire with 3 layers on!)hehe x

Me too! I have the heating on and my OH huge fleece!

I've been cold in the house for a few days, especially upstairs. It just doesn't feel right to put the heating on yet but I think I might have to.

I refuse to put the heating on till October... I've been in bed since half 6 lol

I know! But me and the OH refuse to turn the heating on til October. It's not too bad inside, but outside I'm in my boots already! Bye bye flip flops : (

Haha I just purchased 2 things today to tell me that Winter is coming... winter boots and xmas pressies (I know I know not good!). We also had a "family consultation" over Xmas dinner timings - having divorced parents and now another set of PIL is a right nightmare!

I also did a spot of christmas shopping today..?

Was lovely today during the day - H2b and I planted 55 cabbages whilst watching the filton airshow - but it is stupidly cold in the evening - i too refuse to put the heating on until middle of october - we are snuggled under fleecely blankets

LOL that made me giggle usually im the same but Im soooo cold Ive put the heating on got two pairs of socks on (my feet r like ice) and Ive brought a blanket down to cuddle up with on the sofa Im soooo cold!! lol

Aw I've been lying under the duvet all dying loaded with the cold!!

I was home alone, but now OH's back from football I'm wearing big fluffy slippers and curled up on the sofa with a blanket.

I've put the heating on for most of this week after work but hubby nearly melted today because I put it on at 12noon and when he came in the house about 3pm he was just hit by a wall of heat and asked if I'd put the heating on with horror in his voice.

I just hope the winter isn't as bad as last year/start of this year because our heating bills went through the roof as we had the heating on all day and night.

OMG I sound like a 70 year old woman now but FFS having bills of £600 for heating was ridiculous.

Ive done that before put the heating on and forgot to turn it off then come back to a wall of heat!! I hope its not like last winter either partly coz of heating bills but also I have problems with my legs & bones - I can walk, run do everything as normal etc but if I slip over the wrong way that could me in a wheel chair for the rest of my life!!!

Yep, it's definately turned a little chilly, but im trying to hold out on putting the heating on for another couple of weeks or so, not sure i'll manage it though! x
