Dress question!

MrsLtobe, 13 November, 2010 at 09:27 Posted on Planning 0 7

Hello! I'm new here, and I'm so glad I found this forum where I can talk weddings, don't want to annot my friends too much! lol

Anyway, our wedding is April 2012, but already I'm thinking of looking for my dress, I've looked at Maggie Sottero dresses online and have fallen in love! Does anyone know roughly how much they are? Want to know if I need to look elsewhere!

How much is your dress costing? I'm hoping to be on a bit of a wedding budget!

I fell in love with 2 Maggies - One was £795 (Denise) and one was 895 (Patricia). How that compares to other shops though I have no idea!

Where are you based?coz this might affect the price slightly!

i too have gfell in love with maggie dresses after seeing them at a wedding fair. from what i can see they are averaging between £600, which is the lowest i have seen to about £800. however, there are some that are way more expensive than this. the best thing you can do is go to some local shops and see what they say!

sorry if this does not help!!

    xxx

I've got a maggie dress that was meant to be £995 but i got it at the national wedding fayre with 25% off, so only £740. So my top tip would be try the bigger wedding fayres as they often have good discounts, but do your research first and go with a particular dress in mind as it can be a bit of a bun fight to get in and try dresses on if its busy! Also look out for sample sale dresses as they are often greatly reduced.

As another point, lace dresses are usually more expensive than non-lacey ones.

Have you thought about having a copyied one if your on a budget...

    http://www.landybridal.com/maggie-sottero-c46.aspx they start at $129

I bought a dress from here and so have alot of other hitchers.

My actual wedding dress came from landybridals ebay shop but they do all the same dresses as on the actual site, i just used ebay as the service was better and i was protected by paypal. their shop on ebay is called asapbay.
