Dress wobbles - Opinions please :( Flash!

MrsDWT, 17 August, 2011 at 20:29 Posted on Planning 0 27

Ok so i ordered my dress a few weeks ago and i'm starting to have a few wobbles. I thought i would have something a bit fairytale but when i tried this dress on i felt so elegant and i felt it did more for me figure wise as i am a bit short and the fairytale dresses looked a mit much. Now i am starting to think its not special enough???

I realise i have a bit of flab over the top of the dress but i am working on losing some weight and training hard so i am hoping this will go. I've also included the model pic of the dress as i'm not sure is my pics shows the dress properly.

Can you let me know what you all think please, thank you! (Sorry For Huge Pics, never know how to resize!)

Ahhh, I have the same dress as you so I love it! I like you thought I'd come away with a dress completely different but loved it when I had it on! I was wearing it for ages! It looks great on you, and I don't see any flab either!

I think the dress is lovely and it really suits you. No need to have wobbles. And I agree that the dress looks better on you than the model.

This looks stunning on you. It helps that you actually have boobs unlike the model so it looks very sexy without being too much. Wobbles must be natural - with all those beautiful dresses out there it's obvious you'll find more than one you like. But this looks perfect for your big day.

It looks gorgeous! No need for wobbles, plus it is also worth noting that in the model pictures she is stood at an angle, with one hip dropped down, her shoulders are raised and her arms are lifted... all this makes her look thinner, although she is obviously a waif who would blow over in a breeze anyway.

Having photos taken front is the least flattering, so if you are getting gorgeous commetns now just think what you could look like in photos!

Ahhhhh Feeling a lot better now!!!! Thank you for your comments. I was on the verge of going dress shopping again but to be honest, i havent really got the money to buy another dress anyway.

I think i need to keep reminding myself how I felt when i first tried this dress on and stop obsessing over the picture of me in it as i'm starting to pick it apart.

    Thanks Again Hitchers x

Lovely dress, the colour looks really nice.

I think the model pic might have a hoop on which you could try? Might give the dress a bit more drama?

Stunning Dress, don't worry, its perfect! I had the same bit of panic about my dress, I think everyone does, its the pressure of having to find the perfect dress for one day cos you don't get another go at it....but i looked at a picture the other day of my dress and fell in love all over again. If it felt right when you chose it then I would say its the perfect dress for you!!! xx

It is a beautiful dress and you look fab in it. It is most definitely special enough, you're just having the normal jitters that most brides seem to have over their dress, just relax! ?

You have a lovely hourglass figure and wouldn't say that you need to lose weight at all!! In fact I think if you did lose a lot the dress wouldn't look as nice as it really fits you beautifully!

I also think that it looks tons better on you than the model!

I tried to post last night but home computer will not let me!!!!

I think you should see the positive bits like I see. You fill it out up top better than the model and you have a tiny waist that looks cracking in the dress! xxx

That shape suits you it really shows off your tiny waist and smooth outline. Its a lovely dress too and wonder if having a netting or hoop underneath may give the bottom a bit more shape? I dunno I'm no expert haha.

But I think you are on to a winner there X

You look lovely and the dress is gorgeous. I do also agree that the model might be wearing a small hoop though to bring it out a bit more, but it looks fine on you just the way it is ?

Well my dress is due in the shop in december so i think i will try it with a small hoop as i do like the way it skirts out on the model pic.

Thank you hitchers you have all made me feel better about it. Its so easy to pic out all the bad bits in a picture of yourself
