shame its not quite finished yet and the back was nowhere near done - dont have a pic, but it does have a train and its really lovely. I felt very comfortable in it and the colour is proper purple but not in my pics..!! arrghh so annoying - but I'm sure i can get the proper colour flashed up when its done.

I can now chill out over Xmas and try and switch off abit. But when I go on the 22nd it should be practically complete and just require the hemming. My BM's dress will done at this point too.

So will get to see it then in all its glory and proper shape too.

Tried to upload my makeup trial pics too but the site wont let me, which is strange but will keep trying.

Hi Nurse... no veil but I'm going to have one of the lovely flowers that is on the dress made into a comb or pin to have and some bridal pins.

Didn't think of a veil, 2nd time around and think this would be better option

Coming along nicely thanks-a little scared now we've gone past the 2 month mark, especially as Christmas kinda takes over the next two weeks too.

I had my first dress fitting last week-I was expecting to be in there for hours, but only took 10 mins lol, I've got my next one in 3 weeks so like you I can't wait to see it taking shape...just waiting for the rest of the rsvps to come in before getting stuck into the smaller detail.

I'm now hoping that this is the last of the snow for the winter!

Love it, it is absolutely gorgeous! I have to agree with everyone else, you dont look a 14-16 in the slightest. I am the same size and I went for a browse on Sat and I absolutely adored all the dresses I tried on! Corsets really do make a world of difference. Might have to start wearing one day to day, Dita Von Teese styley!
