The one on the right in my opinion,

I have a small waist and big hips, so I have opted for the second style of dress so that it doesn't cling to them so much. But that doesn't mean the first dress wouldn't flatter you.. they are both beautiful! xx

I had the same dilemma and I am going to be insanely corny in my advice that I am slightly sickening myself lol! But I then ignored what both dresses looked like off and in pics and focused on how I felt about myself when wearing both and then it became clear if that makes sense?

My colleague has got the one on the right. Absolutely stunning in the flesh.

You should try them both on with accessories and see which you then feel is the one for you.

I prefer the one on the right..

I was also torn between 2 dresses at one point but turned out that neither were the right ones and I went with something totally different. Maybe you could look around a bit more to see if there is anything which outshines those 2?

Agreed about trying on more. I was torn between two for ages, but kept trying on more. In the end the one I went for (which i am SOOOOOOOOO in love with) was totally different to either of the two that I thought I was torn between.

I can't imagine being torn between my dess and any others Smiley smile

WSS - As you have only looked in two shops, only one of which you enjoyed, I think you should look around a bit. Maybe on Friday you could go to a few more shops, try on more A-line dresses of a range of fabrics/styles then return to the one with the sample dress to put that on again? Now you have an idea of the process (I found the first shop overwhelming) and what you want you can be more critical about what you like. I also agree with the post about how you feel in the dress being the decider. You say you have body worries so this should be the fundamental question you ask yourself. If you feel comfortable, gorgeous and bride-like then the dress is a goodie.

I prefer the dress on the left because I always love dresses with that underbust detail. It has a slightly vintage/elegant feel to it.

They are both gorgeous and the one on the left looks fab, but a bit of a dodgy picture for seeing it as a whole dress. I also tried on the one on the right and it's amazing. I've fallen in love with a different one, but that was an extremely close second. The beading on the top is so pretty and I love the sparkles all over the skirt and the train. Out of these I would pick the one on the right without a doubt.

Thank you all. I will know by the end of today eek!! We are going to go to one shop first which one of my BMs have recommended and then try on the two dresses. I have also found the other dress online from a aurthorised retailer for round about the same price. Feeling more excited this time I love spending time with my lovely friends. xx

They are both lovely, but I prefer the one on the right, if you are concerned on big hips the asymetrical part will make them look smaller

I love the Alfred Angelo dress & had it on my shortlist but realised that's the dress my cousins wife wore at their wedding!

Very glad I realised before taking the plunge!
