Getting married Summer 2012, nothing booked - but everything decided!

Congratulations, are you having a cake, any ideas what style, type?

Wow, you sound pretty well organised!! Do the people that you have decided on know that you would liek to book them? I would start telling them now as you may not be able to get the date that you want. Things like venues and togs get booked up really quickly so I would get on it staright away ?

Congratulations on your engagement, I too am a 2012 bride our date is 30th June. Our colour scheme is cadbury purple.

I have also got most things sorted, we've booked and put deposits down on the following: church, reception venue, catering, photographer/videographer, my dress, the bridesmaids dresses (i let my bridesmaid choose their own dress as long as they all agreed on the same one and obviously the right colour), the flower girl dresses, cars , cake. I still have to sort the DJ but I know who i'm having, and other things like flowers, hair, make up etc. Oh and i'm on the hunt for wedding stationery.

We sent our save the dates out last week so hopefully it will all come together nicely. We are on a tight budget so I needed to start planning early and grab the bargains as and when they arrive.

When in Summer 2012 are you getting married?

Soon-to-be-Mrs-King, You are very organised too ! It's great to hear from other 2012 brides! We are getting married 5th September.... feels like ages away !

Hi Kerri, congratulations September will be here in no time. I started planning my wedding in 2010 and I kept saying 'Oh it's not until 2012' but now that's next year and it feels like i'm running out of time. i've booked everything but unfortunately i still have to pay for it all hahahaha!!

I would get booking ASAP, depending on the date it could be very busy already for next year!

My florist has another wedding that day, also the car i wanted was already booked out and a few things i wanted to hire - all not available for 2nd june next year!!!!
