Hi there I'm Sam, good morning!!! getting married 26th of this month. We are together 13 years and have 4 children, aged 3,4,6 and 9. We are both nurses but I'm now a full time Mum. Me and my OH are 25 and will be tieing the knot in July 2012. (Wishing it was sooner).

He popped the question in our favourite place in May 2010.

Wedding planning is the scariest thing I have ever done, and I am definitly not a natural, so thank god for Hitched and the Hitchers!

We have known eachother since we were 12, and I feel like I will be marrying my best friend as we have so much in common and ever day is a laugh.

We live in a little cottage where we both grew up, and have a little black cat, and a goldfish. I am just getting the hang of gardening, and very proud to have managed to keep a few things alive so far this year.

I am mostly looking forward to our honeymoon.

I'm Nik, 24. I work in finance & OH for a recruitment company. We have been together for 5 years and get married August 2012. Getting a little bit stressed as we need to reply on everyone else to book/arrange things for us as we live in Czech Republic, but still really looking forward to it!

I live with OH Mr T in Dartford, Kent. We have a cat called Maggie and OH has 2 kids, G -boy, 11 and M - girl, 8. I love my little ready made family and we all get on great. (apart from the cat, she hates everyone...)

Getting married in the middle of a big park in a big house on 1st October...cant wait!

I work in East London for a company who are something to do with the Olympics and the Olympic Park, as an administrator.

I would love to open a restaurant / cafe/ bistro one day and have vowed to move to to Cornwall one day too.

Yess they will, my oldest will be 8 then so hopefully he will be doing a reading, Youngest son will be 6 and he will carry the rings and then my little princess will be 2 and she, of course will be my flower girl.

We live in Manchester but my OH is Irish and I am from the Isle of Man, although based on the last few days we might move away from the city!

We got married in Cyprus 4 years ago. The best thing we ever did. Some people say it doesn't change your relationship but it did ours and it gets better everyday. I have been Filming weddings for nearly 6 years and love it. It's hard work work for yourself and there is is always a lot to do but it's much more rewarding than working for someone else. Go for it! If you need any one to sample your creations them I'm up for it. I recently had a cupcake at a wedding that looked amazing but tasted horrible. Good Luck!

I'm Caralyn, marrying Jez on 15th March on Zanzibar. Wedding reception is 28th April in a lovely old barn. Second time around for me, and refusing to get stressed or bridezilla-ish this time. Our wedding planners abroad are organising most of the day - we just need to meet the priest 2 days before the ceremony to sort out details. All other plans are rather haphazard, but I'm sure it will all work out OK eventually!

PP, to go along the NYC theme we have, Yellow New York cabs for our wedding cars, a 3 tier cake with a NYC cab on the top along with a bride and groom, NYC style invites, Bloomingdales and Macys bags as gift bags for the wedding party, the BM's are having New York perfume, and kinda of NYC we are having Martini glasses as centre pieces, but also tall glasses on other tables...were just in the middle or choosing our NYC theme cocktails for the welcome drinks! exciting stuff!

All ive left to do is get BM dresses (i did have them but they were no good), sort out shoes, veil etc for me, organise table plan and just little bits and pieces which will do next year.

We got engaged 4th june this year we are getting married 20th october next year. He got down on one knee pretending to have hurt his foot, i couldve killed him for scaring me. we are both carers im a full time student but finish next year. i have been engaged twice already and have joined hitched both previous times so it has been really difficult coming back this third time, feel so ashamed ?. thankfully everyone has been really lovely and helpful as always. im sad to see several members i used to talk to frequently on here have gone. I first came on in 1998 when I first got engaged, stayed over on OT until I got engaged again in 2000, then back to OT until I got engaged again in 2002 (and got married in 2003!). Now I'm back again - now if anybody's going to feel ashamed it should be me ?

Morning PP....well I do remember you from my days of planning my last wedding (1940's theme)....well it is lovely to see a familar face on her i can tell ya....I am planning a commitment ceremony for new years eve and hopefully a wedding sometime next year to my australian hunk who i met through facebook when i needed someone to talk to when i found out my husband was wearing my wedding dress talking to other men on the internet!

Hi PP....well this is the problem I have...no one has ever heard of a commitment ceremony....now i dont know where to start...we have booked the registry office for new years eve and booked our village hall for party in the evening but that is about it at the moment....i dont know what to wear...if i should have flowers or attendants or anything....that is why i have returned here to see if anyone can help....Shaun is not flying home till 10th December so i need to be organised and have most of it done cos when he does get here, we wont have much time left!
