Grrr..Stupid Men!!

Just a wee rant, sorry ladies! My OH called me as he was on his way to work and said that he doesn't think that he has enough holidays left for us to have our honeymoon this year!!! He always gets a couple more days than me a year so he went to our friend's wedding in India and now he doesn't have enough left for the honeymoon - gutted ☹️

Oh well guess it'll need to be next year.

    Can he take it as unpaid leave? Do his employers offer extra holiday/money as a 'congratulations'?

    He was asking the same question himself Smiley smile Part of it has been because for all the other days off I sent him calendar requests so he could book the time off, but because we haven't booked actual dates yet I didn't send a calendar thingy!

    I'd ask how he'd managed to get it so wrong, but then i know what my H is like, so i can almost see how it happened. Sorry to hear that your OH has managed to fruit up your honeymoon. Make sure he spoils you rotten on your mini moon!

    My H has done a similar thing, not leaving enough leave for our (agreed) holiday by using it all up on his family (which is a far better reason, I think, but still annoying). But at least it's not our honeymoon!

    Could he not ask to bring annual leave forward from next year??

    My H's company changed their calendars for annual leave which meant H didn't have enough for our honeymoon. He was able to bring week forward. It did mean he had less last year so we were really tight.

    Worth asking.

    Yikes.
