H2B on stag :(

Dream Team Dean, 22 August, 2013 at 08:49 Posted on Planning 0 24

So my H2B is currently on his way to Gatwick Airport on his stag to Marbella. I am so sad that he is leaving me for 4 days haha

We havent really had any time apart since living together the last time he went on holiday, was over 2 years ago when he went to Germany for the driving experience and before that he went to Marbella but we wasn't living together at that moment and I know I am going to be a right moody mare the next few days, even though I have lots of plans. My little sister is coming to stay at my house tonight she is only 11 and loves all things girly, so we are going to have facepacks, nail painting, and watch the recording of four weddings and don't tell the bride. Then tomorrow I am at H2B sisters for a curry and wine and Saturday I am going to Thorpe Park with the girls and then out to a bar in the evening. I will be a lonely spinster, I even miss him terribly whilst at work on a day to day basis lol.....

How did other ladies cope whilst H2B's were on stag. I cannot help thinking that he is going to be comatose for the next few days lol, you know us ladies we worry too much. I hope he has an amazing time though, he seems so excited Smiley smile xxxx

I diddnt worry about it at all! He's a grown up, he can look after himself.

He will be fine, and it will probably do you some good having some time away from him too.

Main thing is he has a great time like I did for my hen..... ? yes and It will give me the chance to have a nice clean house for the next few days as well with no washing to tend to lol .... look on the bright side x

Sounds like you have a fab few days planned so just enjoy it :-)

My OH had his stag do early and, although I missed him, I just enjoyed having some time to myself and loved hearing all his stories and seeing his excited face when he got back.

I barely gave him a second thought while he was on either of his weekend away stag dos.

A bit of distance is good for relationships. Smiley smile

Was he the same while you were away on yours?

After his friends spiked his drinks at the engagement do I have little hope for the stag do. Thou i did make it clear that if they repeated a stunt like that I'll hang them by their nads.

I loved it when H went away for his stag. I enjoyed the peace and quiet, eating what I liked, watching the TV I wanted and having the bed to myself.

    He'll have a great time.

My only concern is that they would shave his eyebrows off.

Hopefully his stags wont try and mess with his handsome face haha, and I am sure he will have an amazing time.

You girls are right, I think I might actually enjoy the time away as well, do all things girly and just have fun really. So I am now looking forward to this weekend, the worse thing I have to do is work the rest of today and tomorrow. Thank god for bank holiday Monday ? xxxxx

When H was on his stag, the house was clean and smelled nice, I got to read and it was quiet! Enjoy!

If I'm being completely honest, the only time I missed H was at night when I didn't have anyone to cuddle up to (I didn't have my dog then though)

I've got my h2b saying he doesn't want a stag either.

He doesn't really have any close friends and doesn't like drinking. So he doesn't want to bother. Smiley sad

A few days are a doddle, like everyone else has said enjoy the time, spoil yourself and watch all the cr*p on telly whilst you have chance. My hubs heads out for 3 months tomorrow I have stock piled my reading and watching and off to the hairdressers on Saturday. Of course I'll miss him too ?

We're having our stags and hens at the same time, much to both of our disappointment, we both love a weekend with the house to ourselves and feel slightly cheated that we won't get this! Just keep yourself busy and you'll soon forget about him not being there. I just ask for one text a day to know he's still alive and then I'm happy!

I completely forgot when OH was going on his until he said something about not being in on the Friday night. Then when I realised I had the house to myself I was looking forward to a night in by myself.

They didnt do anything horrible to him and he came back in one piece so all was well.

I hate being away from my OH!

I went on holiday with my MOH recently and although I had a great time, I missed him more in Cyprus than he missed me lazing at home.

Don't get me wrong - I love a nice evening where I can watch what ever I want and getting house work done without him getting in the way, but i HATE going to bed being the only one in the house.

Mine is the same but he's taking his brother, dad and 3 friends to some zombie thing in Reading for his stag. Not sure what else they have planned but he doesn't like drinking either so it won't be that and he does want to be away for a couple of days. There's plenty of other things to do which don't involve alcohol Smiley smile
