Hair trial *flash* - which do you prefer

Annah304, 11 December, 2010 at 14:23 Posted on Planning 0 17

I had my hair trial today, really pleased with it in general but can't decide between two styles! Flashed both below - please tell me your thoughts! The first one is pinned up at the back, and the second is a ponytail more to the top. I will have a veil on as well for the ceremony but prob take it off after.

Originally I thought I liked the first best but looking back on the pics I now think I like the second better as it gives just a bit more height. Please forgive the lack of make-up and the bad camera quality!

This is style 1:

And this is style 2:

What do you think? ?

Number 2 because of the height.

Number 2, the height makes your neck look longer (even if you can't see your neck!). Just a little more elegant all around and less likely to flatten during the day?

Thanks all so far, I think I agree with you all ? It's just the extra height that makes it look better!

I'm gonna go against the grain and say the first. I'm not a fan of any 'higher' styles though tbh.

    Hi,

They both look lovely, but love the height of number (2)

Its a tricky one, as they both look lovely. But I think I prefer the first one though.

I prefer the first one plus I think it will be easier to place your veil with this style

No.2 for me it looks much tidier than the first one and more volume to it.

    Thank you all! ?

Another thought I had this evening is that I can't really add much in the way of height 'cos I am wearing relatively high heels and OH is only about half to 1 inch taller than me with them on. So veering back towards style 1 now!! But maybe starting a bit higher up, but not so high up as to make me too tall - argh!!

Thanks again - love this site!!
