Has anyone used the new Loreal 'Extraordinary Oil' yet? *Updated*

See I thought about doing a thread to say its good but I remembered an old thread about L'Oreal doing animal testing so I didn't want to say BUT

its damn good. I'd see better than Moroccan oil which can make me greasy. I apply it liberally and without fancy blow drying, just brushing it straight under the hair dryer it was almost frizz free which I've never achieved before with frizz ease or similar. So I'd invest. I've used it about 6/7 times and its barely made a debt in the bottle so I'd say it's good value. I'd say I'd send you a pot to try but not sure what I'd put it in.

My only criticism is the scent. It's a bit, herbally?

I use Body Shop's Monoi Oil and think it is fab. It's £10 a bottle I think and lasts AGES.

I leave it on for an hour or so, double shampoo wash it out and my hair is much softer and shinier. I have frizz-prone thick and rather coarse hair.

Let me know how you get on! You can always sell it on eBay if you don't like it to recoup some of the £.

I've been using it for a while now and think it's great. Use it before shampooing for a really intense condition about once a week and I use it nearly eveyday on dry hair to tame flyway bits. Only one squirt needed at a time so lasts ages. I think I'm about 1/3 through my bottle and had it at least 4 months using it most days, well worth the investment.

On a side note I brought Organiz Moroccan Oil Shampoo and conditioner from Boots at the weekend - BRILLIANT!!! My hair feels fab!!!

I'm a huge fan too, and love the herbally smell. I use it after I've towel dried, before blowdrying and it makes it all soft and non frizzy. Well worth a tenner.

Thanks for the update!! So do you put it in before washing then leave it for a bit then wash it out?

Will have to get myself some next time I'm in town, my hairs thick and frizzy so sounds like this could do the trick.

I use argan moroccan oil from my local sallys but I use a teeny bit after washing my hair - should I really be using it before as a conditioning treatment?

My hair get greasy quickly but because it has a natural wave it can still be hard to style!

I do this too because the hair on top is greasy but the ends are dry and frizzy due to colouring. I got some in my stocking for Christmas. I also use VO5 Plump it up spray for volume which smells lovely too.
