Hello all,

So this is my second time using Hitched (2001 the first time) my first marriage didn't work out and so i'm back hurrah ? I am engaged to an amazing man and were hoping to tie the knot in Oct 2013, we want to keep it intimate so considering Gretna.

If anyone has had or is having a small wedding any tips would be gratefully recieved.

    How small is small for you?

    We are having 45 in the day and maybe 100 in the eve and having a Church Wedding followed by a Pub / Inn for our meal and reception Smiley smile

    Hi, were looking at 40 daytime 70 evening. Or if we go to Gretna then 20 max. We looked at a venue on Sunday that is fairly local to us so now were in two minds.

    I suggested we do registry office and then garden party but H2B isn't too keen on that idea. When is your date?

    How do I change the size of my text, it's tiny?

    August 31st 2013, have you got a date in mind?

    It's hard to get a compromise on guests- we felt we were being quite strict at 45- no cousins etc but its what we want!

    Dunno, about the text- your posts look the same as mine on my computer!

    We were hoping for October next year but we may have to wait till 2014, down to finances really. Small numbers but still big prices.

    we are having 60 ish to the day and up to 110 in the evening but Im expecting people to not show up which prob sounds awful x

    I'm having 80 to the day and more to the evening but I don't know if that classes as small.
