Help : Reference

ninabeanie, 8 July, 2011 at 16:04 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0

Hi

I normally post on BT but could do with some help with my reference as it is part of a compromise agreement from work which I need approved and to get to my solicitor today - would you mind looking and passing comment?

To Whom It May Concern:
I highly recommend Nina ????? as a candidate for employment. Nina was employed by ?????? from March 2008 – September 2011 working in various roles including PA to Chief Executive and PA to HR/Operations Director.
Nina was responsible for providing one to one support including extensive diary management, all forms correspondence, fielding phone calls and emails, preparing reports and presentations, planning and taking minutes at meetings , providing pension plan administration and processing the deparmental invoices, planning training on behalf of the company for all employees (as well as co-ordinating the delivery of those courses) and producing the quarterly staff magazine.

Nina has excellent communication skills and is extremely organised, reliable and as well as being computer literate to a high level. She can work independently or as part of a team and is highly capable when bringing tasks to a conclusion. She is flexible and willing to work on any project that is assigned to her. Nina was quick to volunteer to assist in other areas of company operations which contributed greatly to the business.
Nina would be a tremendous asset for your company and has my highest recommendation. If you have any further questions with regard to her background or qualifications, please do not hesitate to call me.

I think it looks good, but you need a "of" before correspondence. It gets your point across without too much detail (I am a terrible waffler!!)
