Honeymoon suggestions-please help!!!

There are some beautiful places in Marrakesh Morocco we have been looking for our mini moon and there are alot of luxury accommodations and complexes that are reasonably priced!

Have a look you might be surprised!

It depends what you want but in May the carribbean should be a great option. Mexico seems a very popular honeymoon destination too. How about Africa: Zanzibar, Cape Verde, Gambia and Kenya?

we're going to Hawaii as OH wouldn't go to the caribbean in hurricane season.

We're flying out to Mexico for 2 weeks on 22nd May. There are loads of hotels available in a wide range of budgets.

I love America and flights seem really cheap at the moment - There are some fabulous beaches in Florida and the food is to die for!

We're going to Cuba and staying at the Paradisus Rio de Oro. It was fairly cheap. AbbyGlos- what was the resort like? Did you experience the royal service? x

We're going to Cape Verde for 2 weeks cant wait! it wasn't too expensive aswell!

Just being nosey but I'd love to hear more about that hotel in Cuba too!

This is where we are going on our honeymoon!

Gah! Wish we were paying that price! OH is a teacher so we are going just before the summer holidays start (he managed to get a few days off), when the price is at it's highest!

Looks lovely ladies Just wish I knew where we were going or could persuade OH to let me help him decide!!

Thanks for the suggestions-OH actually suggested Cuba the other day. This has been the only place he hasn't turned his nose up at yet so will look in to it!

Not sure what your budget is but how about Mexico, Gulf of Thailand or bali?

We went to Cancun in Mexico a few years ago for a holiday and we loved it - we stayed at the Riu Cancun and all of the rooms overlook the beach it was beautiful, there is another hotel next door to it, also a RIU but it's a palace hotel which as far as i know is part of the platinum selection. The sensatori hotel over there look amazing, we nearly booked the El Dorado suites - we both loved the look of them but we wanted to go somewhere we have never been before otherwise we would have definitelybooked there.

Were off to Aruba for our honeymoon next year. We looked at the Seychelles and Bahamas but we couldn't get a any direct flight we would have had to fly from London to get to alot of places which we didn't want to do.

We are going to mexico - it looks amazing and like someone else has said there are hotels to suit all budgets! Ours is 5* and looks absolutely amazing and it really wasnt as dear as we expected it to be!

Your best bet would be to look and see where the weather is good at the time of year you are going on your honeymoon. The next thing to look at is do you want quiet beach, adventure, culture etc and see what is around. You might find yourselves booking somewhere completely random that isn't a 'usual' honeymoon resort.
