I get married in August 2010 and I bought my dress in February 2011. I hadn't planned on getting it so early. I'd planned to start looking for my dress in May, get it ordered by mid summer, then start looking at BM dresses. Even May (15 months before) was quite early, in my opinion, but having been engaged since March 2010, I just wanted to do something!
I ended up randomly going to a sample sale, where I bought my dress.
I ordered mine in October 2010 when I'd lost a stone. I was in between sizes & went for the smaller size & have since lost another stone & its grand - but its a lace up back which means less alterations.
Im gettin married next month.
Hi i get married in June 2012 (a year tomorrow yay!) and i havent got my dress yet. I am going to try some on this weekend and will see if i can find one i like but dont want to get measured and order quite yet until ive lost some more weight ?
