I Wish.......

My wish is to get (and stay) pregnant

I also wish my Dad was still alive. Every so often when I'm thinking about certain wedding things, like walking down the aisle, or dancing in the evening, I see his really stereotypical man face where he's trying not to look like he's crying, and it just hits me all over again ☹️

I too wish my dad was still alive. I think he might even have been proud of me for my new job. I know he would have been very interested in the neurology aspects of it. After almost three years i still miss him a great deal.

I would wish for my brother to get the house he's put in an offer for and for the whole moving malarky to be as smooth as possible. I'd also like to to be sunny this weekend for my other brother's 30th BBQ celebrations. On a more serious and personal note I wish H would get a promotion - he's worked really hard for it and deserves it. And I hope my new job works out well and I make a sucess of it! Not that I have a head full of wishes or anything!

My main wish is that i wasnt so paranoid about the health of my unborn baby after my miscarriage last year! but im sure that alot of women have that.

My other wish is that i wish my beloved grandad was still alive to know that we know about our half siblings and that we are not angry with him for not telling us because it wasnt his secret to tell , also for him to meet my sister who was born 2 years after he died and of course to tell him that i love and miss him and know hes watching over me!

Mine would be EXACTLY the same as yours.

Fluff for you too AC !!! I am sure he is immensely proud ! My dad has been gone 4 years now and there are still days where something really random sets me off and I cry just as much as I did the first few weeks he was gone.

Samwiches, I was absolutely terrified that I would be a complete blubbering wreck on my wedding due to my dad absence. I placed a very discreet photo of him with a poem in the corner of the ceremony room on a small table and on the morning of the wedding (I stayed at the venue the night before) I went in to the room with one of my best friends to show her and we read the poem and both had a massive cry together and after that I was mostly fine for the rest of the day. My dads brother stepped in to his shoes for the day so the fact that my dad was not there was inevitably mentioned in his FOB speech, which made practically the entire room cry, including me and H, but other than that I managed to hold it together. I am not saying everyone works the same way, but maybe if you allow yourself to let it all out the night before or on the morning you may not be as bad as you think ?

I wish that everyone could be reinstated with the promising and stable mental wellbeing they were born with.

I wish .... the local hospital would give my oh the physio he desperatly needs and could walk again.

I wish my brother will come back safely from Afghanistan.

Amen to that.

I also wish we had a big, endless blue sky to look up at more often.

I also wish I had hair like Kim Kardash - on a more seminal note.

I will probably cry a lot in the run up, just from stress! I'm having a little picture of him tied to my bouquet, and my Mom is giving me away - she'll of course mention him in her speech. We lost him so suddenly, but we have a lot of good memories - it's all the things he'll miss that get us going again. Like last year, my brothers both had big birthdays (16 and 21) and they were both happy and sad days. I definately think I'll be needing some excellent make up though, I tend to cry at inappropriate times, rather than when I actually want to ?

For us our house gets confirmed as sold today and the house we want gets accepted with our offer. Gawd its so frustrating just getting that little bit extra.

Can I be greedy and add a BFP in the next few months as we TTC and for this old bird at 39, we need all the luck we can get!!!

Selfishly, I'd wish for our house to sell quickly to ease our financial problems.

I wish that Hs amazing aunt didnt have cancer, i also wish everyone gets their healthy pregnancy/baby!

For me, I wish my H wanted another baby too (or that i didnt!) and that we could move out of our tiny rented flat and buy our own house!

Mines a bit come true, not in the good way but period started.. No more limbo.
