If you knew your OH liked you with your hair...

2013_Bride_, 4 February, 2013 at 21:20 Posted on Planning 0 14

Down & Curled, would you be inclined to wear your hair like this on your wedding day?

Of course they will think you look fabulous no matter how you wear it, but would it make you take preference over that hairstyle or not?

Nope. Never even crossed my mind. Just like I wouldn't have expressed a preference for his.

As it was he chose to get all if his fair cut off two days before. He looked bloody gorgeous.

Yep, my guy gets way more doe-eyed when I go natural and curly, I'm happy to oblige Smiley smile

Yes. Always have my hair natural and curly, and always straighten it. However, OH has said many times he likes it natural as if I've just walked out of the sea, so surfer chic. I didn't mind having it loose and curled for the wedding, and it suited the style of the wedding.

My OH loves my hair curled. I have been planning to have it put up and he knows (or thinks he does!) that I'm not having it down and curled for the wedding.

But now I can't help but think maybe it will be a nice surprise if I do have it that way as he won't be expecting it and I know he loves it.

Not that he is going to care less on the day if its up, I know he will think I look lovely no matter what, but can't help but think maybe its a nice touch.

Unless you're really attached to the up-do I think it would be a lovely surprise for him Smiley smile

The curls and down were back up. Mainly because I'm concerned about my hair being in my face during photos / it all falling out and looking awful by the evening reception.

I definitely want curls though, and to be honest now I've had one trial and hated it I'm really wondering whether I'm going to like any 'up' curl styles.

My fella likes my hair long, but it's straight and boring, and doesn't hold a style well. I have no idea what to do with it! I like it up, but he always says he likes it down, so I'm tempted to leave it long, just don't know how...

I have quite long, thick, slightly wavy hair, and every time I have it down Ant comments on how much he likes it.

This will in no way stop me from having it up on our wedding day. There is no way I will be dealing with that potential rat's nest that day. If my hair is down, I can't stand not being able to easily run my fingers through it, and if it were curled and styled, I most likely would not be able to, and I would end up ruining it. So, a relaxed up do for me, no matter what Ant's preference is.

    Thanks all.

I'd always planned to have it up and if I find a style where I like it up then I will do that.

But like I said, curled and down has always been my back-up and now I've had one very unsuccessful 'up' hair trial I'm getting a bit nervous I won't like any!

Generally its making me think even more about my back-up option and then I thought about how much OH liked it and maybe it wouldn't be such a bad thing if my hair ended up like that on the day Smiley smile x

My OH loves my hair down generally, and as it happened I wanted it down anyway for the wedding, with the front half pulled back. I wouldn't have worn it down just because he liked it though.

I always wear my hair down and OH has always said he hates people that get married and completely change what they look like. he wants to marry me, as he's always seen me, if i walked down with my hair up, he'd still marry me dont get me wrong, but he finds it odd to be completely different.

OH likes my hair straight, and I was going to have it that way as I do too... But I've ended up going curly and I love it!
