If you were in an eating competition, what would you eat?

I'd choose fishfingers. I reckon I could do 50. What could you eat an inordinately large quantity of, and how many could you do?

Chips, jacket potatoes with butter and cheese, Pringles, Cadbury's Dairy Milk (I can quite easily eat a 250g bar in no time at all), digestive biscuits, rich tea biscuits, custard creams. Would need a cup of tea or glass of water to go with it though.

    God I'm such a pig!?

I'm with R-A - I'd do kettle chips but I'm happy to go with any flavour and I reckon I could manage 5 large packets in one sitting.

Or Maltesers. I could probably do 5 large packets of them too.

I'm also a bit of a pasta fiend - the spaghetti eating task in Big Brother would not have defeated me!! ? So probably 1kg of spaghetti without too much bother as long as it had a decent pesto on it.

Maryland cookies are surely made to be eaten whole. They're especially good if dunked briefly in tea first, then eaten whole.

I reckon i could see off a few packets of maryland cookies in one go no problem

First I'll sit with Flowery on the chocolate covered raisins bench, then I'll move next to KB3 to make the world a crisp free planet.

I could eat either of those two things until they started to come out of my eyes.

It would have to be a nice mature cheddar or some pork & onion sausages for me. I could eat loads of them.

I once crunched so many polos that I could feel them moving around in my stomach.

I could quite easily eat a lot of most things esp sweet things. I think I would probably go for bourbon biscuits and I wouldn't like to say how many but I could probably get through a few packs. I'm very greedy when comes to them thats why I only eay them on holiday!

I'd happily compete with Sophie on mussel eating and I've yet to find a quantity of jaffa cakes, wholemeal toast and butter, dry roasted peanuts, chocolate-coated pretzels, or cold baked beans that I can't handle.

However, it seems 1.5 small custard tarts is too much as I finished R's and now feel queasy!

Fruit for me! I can eat kilos of grapes, punnets of nectarines or boxes of strawberries without feeling full or sick.

Fruit would also be my choice if I could only eat one "food group" for the rest of my life.

I tried to beat the world record for the number of Ferrero Rocher that could be unwrapped and eaten in 1 minute.I thought the record of 5 was easily breakable. After 4 attempts I gave up having only manage 3 in a minute.

If the chocolate raisin bench is already taken, I reckon I could win with Revels.

Chips. I could eat about 4 buckets full.

Toast also too, a few loaves of fresh bread toasted with lots of butter on.

Salted peanuts - I reckon I could eat a load of them.

Sports mixture- I could eat a load of them as long as my jaw could handle them as they make my mouth ache after a few.

Tangerine flavoured jelly belly jelly beans, I love them so much, I could easily eat an obscene amount.

Salt and vinegar crisps - I wouldn't mind being put off them for life, I'm sure it would make me a much healthier person.

BBQ-sauce coated chicken wings or hot buttered toast with honey too, as long as I had the right drink to go with it (orange juice for the wings, milk for the toast).

    Crisps any cheese flavour.

I could happily eat them for every meal for the rest of my life....which probably wouldn't be a very long time if that's all I ate.

Another for Maltesers. I have yet to find my limit.

I tried to eat a whole cake the other week and failed, so I'm maybe not so much of a gannet as I though.

I amuse myself by seeing if I can feed my husband so much food that he leaves some on the plate. Today I made him two lots of bacon sandwiches and then sausage sandwiches. He just ate the lot without batting an eyelid and asked if there was any more coffee. I'd put him in the competition in my place.

Marshmallows for me, if it were a competition. Bread or bread-like products (like pizza) congeal in the stomach like glue, so that's not good competition material, whereas marshmallows just dissolve (I've been thinking too much about this, clearly!)
