I'm so nervous right now

mrsgreatbatch2b, 19 October, 2011 at 23:27 Posted on Planning 0 7

My OH is booking our suprise honeymoon as we speak. I know I should be excited but I can't help but have butterflies and feel slightly sick.

God no! That's really exciting! He's hardly going to take you somewhere pants. Relax and look forward to it.

I know I should be but still feel a bit ? I'm not a control freak but I normally wear the trousers in the relationship. Up till now I was happy and excited about him doing it. I think I would rather him not of told me his doing it.

Our honeymoon was supposed to be a suprise, hubby to be put a deposit on it but didn't finalise the destinations or hotels ect, I only lasted a few months before I had to know what he was planning, I don't do suprises well lol so now I do know I can tweak it to what will be perfect for both of us, he thinks I ruined the suprise, I know between us the honeymoon will be perfect.

Just realised I may be a control freak ?

If you can't trust him to make a decision for you then I think there are bigger issues to worry about than what clothes to pack.

I hate surprises too but I trust my wife if she says she's organising a surprise that I will like it - and she hasn't let me down yet.

IMO no one partner should 'wear the trousers' but decisions made by both, for both, in the majority of cases.

How exciting, I bet you can't wait to find out where you will be going! I would probably have the butterfly feeling too, but more from excitement than nerves.

Ooh, you did better than me Smiley smile My honeymoon was going to be a surprise, but I could see that OH was freaking out about getting it right so I sat down with him and said that I would rather that we did it together so that we could enjoy booking somewhere and that he didn't stress about it as it is supposed to be fun!!
