Is everybody still flouncing?

I think its more a case of the other site is much quicker and therefore people are there

The use of the term flounce is misleading. I think most of us just want somewhere that actually works, and has other people to talk to on it.

Well I'm here. I can't be bothered registering with another site and I'm really hoping that people will come back here soon. BT's fine.

Plus, I doubt I'd be able to get on the other place whilst I'm at work.

OT is averaging less than 3 posts an hour - my work email traffic is busier than this place. ?

Probably because it still takes up to a minute to load a reply page.

I didn't flounce anywhere, but am posting on the other site as that's where everyone is.

I do check on here several times a day and reply if I can give a reply.

It's crazy that it's so quiet on a forum. I really do feel that Hitched have kicked themselves!

I'm starting to get a bit annoyed by the continued accusations of "flouncing". There has been no mass flouncing, people just want to chat somewhere where they can have a conversation at a greater speed than 3 posts per hour. That's all.

Me too. I think the only person who has flounced has been Kat Rowley after her last post.... The rest of the Hitched community are still interacting as much as (if not more than) they ever did, just in a different place where the performance of the forum is more conducive to being used.

I think the majority of posters are still checking here regularly, but until the site shows some continued stability and consistency in speed, the community will vote with their feet.

No, its fine. Have you tried checking your link hasn't got corrupted?

No flouncing here just I prefer to hang out somewhere with a bit more life than a morgue.

Hitched has not been the same since it turned purple. Before then it was really fast paced, I was quite intimidated by it all when I came over here from Confetti. Sadly this place has now gone the same way and is dull as dishwater.

No - it's fine. A bit slow on occasion, but not as bad as here.

Is it part of the same company or different? What was the link again?
